Easy to set up to my Mac operating system. Office document printing is very good, but requires set up if you want top page to print first or last. Scanning works well, but must be initiated from the computer. Excellent photo printing

I would like to be able to write a review, but have not been able to get the software to load on my computer, so we have not been able to use the printer yet. I have to pay a firm to come to our house and work on it for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great printer - Prints fast, great looking documents & on 2 sides of a sheet of paper.
I like the wireless which works on mobile devices & other computers on my network. You don't need to have your computer area clutered up, but can set the printer up in any convenient area.
Makes high quality pictures.
The only problem was the net driver on the installation disk wasn't compatable with my computer, but I was directed to a site where I was able to download the correct one.
I like the closed construction & paper trays which keeps a lot of dirt & dust out.

So far the 840 is as advertised. Installation instructions are not that clear or the rating would be higher.

So far, so good. Printer was easy to set up on our network. Speed is good. Printing, copies, and scanning is good. Have not used all of the features yet, but I like it so far compared to what I was using.

Great little machine, network installation however

Like the performance of this machine so far, have had it a week.
However, we have WPA2 vs the default WPA security. The machine is supposed to seamlessly communicate with WPA2 in setup: It didn't.
Luckily, I've networking experience and manually set it up. My team however was very frustrated, since they couldn't set it up with the default wizard and had to wait days for my return to the office.
Overall, I'm sure they'll forget about that and enjoy the additional paper trays and easy to use front LED screen.
We have other Epson printers and scanners and are very happy with there performance over the years.
Cheers.

Well it’s finally about time I’ve found the right printer. In the past 5 years I’ve bought 3 All-In-Ones from just one brand. I realized that if I bought that many printers from the same brand, it means is time to try something new. I saw this printer first online and it catched my eye. I’ve seen the brand on projectors and is such a GREAT brand. I also found the ink less expensive than the ink for the other competitors. My cousins also suggested trying EPSON. And finally I decided to try this EPSON WorkForce 840 being the flagship model for EPSON I was like it has to be the best model. After using I liked that it turned on so quickly and also prints out so fast. Also I like that is touch-screen and has 2 paper trays. You could even print out graph paper and lined paper directly on the computer without using a computer. And also I like the fact that is wireless. Even though I use it for school use, I’ve always bought the “business” or “professional” models for All-In-Ones, and this model exceeds those models. It’s way smaller than other competitors. I think I just found the brand that exceeds my expectations. Setup was a breeze and has great software with it, and I haven’t had a reason to contact EPSON for support. This printer is the best option out there for All-In-Ones and I Highly-Recommend it.
