Prints beautifully but setup took forever. Had to call tech support and download drivers online. I have just set it up so I do not know too much about it except it copies and prints fast and very sharp print on pages. Have not tried photos yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Nice Printer

This printer was amazingly simple to setup and install. From opening the box to having all home office computers (5) setup and able to print took about 30 minutes and didn't take any effort. Very refreshing for a full time IT guy.
The print quality is great for an all-in-one printer.
The included duplexing feature is a great resourse saver.
The only Con I can think of is the front panel display looks so nice my 3 year old can't leave it alone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the soft sound when the paper is being printed and it is much faster than my previous printer. The size of the 840 is just right to fit on the small file cabinet. Installing the software was simple and did not take a lot of time. The larger paper tray is energy efficient, I don't have to load paper as often. I am quite pleased with my purchase. Since I will be using the 840 all-in-one for our home business, I appreciate the touchscreen also.

Easy setup, even for us Mac users

While it's obvious the original software was written for the PC world, then modified for Mac users like me, the setup was pretty user friendly, although somewhat time-consuming. At least I was never lost in the string of dialog windows, and the end result was perfect.

Great Machine

Not only is it a fantastic machine with great options, but the price was Awesome! The thing that put it above the rest, is the double paper trays. This has allowed me to stop having to switch paper.
The Machine was perfect for our business, I highly recommend it. The ink is VERY inexpensive when concidering the cost of a lazer machine and the cost of toner.
I have had the 810 at home for almost 2 years and have been very happy, But I couldn't have been happier when that dang expensive laser jet broke!
We switched and are now saving $money$, and So should YOU!

easy set-up for mac

Wow! That set up was so easy! I have printed two pages is all but I am so impressed I had to write this. I will write more when I run out of ink (one reason I bought this Epson is because I was sick of my other printer telling me I was out of ink when I wasn't). I am anxious to see how this one goes. Hope this helps!

I have owned several previous models of epson printers. They have all performed well. Just upacked this printer. Setup was pretty straight forward. I read the reviews before going out to purchase this machine. I took one owners advice; googled the latest drivers for this printer. I didn't waste time with the cd which came with the box. (cd dated 2010, epson website latest driver dated Jan 2011) It's a heavy download - 105MB, so start it early, while you unpack your machine. Follow the "start here" instructions and then the on-screen instructions (after driver download). Setup should be a snap. Stay tuned...
