Lot of bang for the buck. I like the way it holds two different kinds of paper and as much as five hundred sheets. Seems to be very fast and quite. The screen is big and easy to operate. I like this printer very much.

Waited for long time for an Epson printer with 4 ink cartridges, 2 paper trays-letter and legal, automatic 2-sided printing, and wireless with fax cabability. The "840" was all this and more. Wonderful printer!

The 840 all in one is fantastic, great speed, great colour and double sided printing just fills the bill. I teach wire wrapped jewellery and hand out lesson plans that are up to 24 pages long, now I can double side them. The ink adjust feature produces great images on plain paper with no bleed through. I have already recommended it to our Church for the office. Thanks thewirelady

Epson Workforce 840

Great printer. I keep coming back to Epson products, though I take an occassional "vacation." I have Win 7, 64-bit operating system. If you have a 64-bit system, the CD that comes in the box will delay setup (some wrong drivers versions). Go to the Web Site and download the appropriate drivers. It is easy to do and will make the machine functional right away! Unpacking: One instruction is a bit misleading because the drawing may make you think that you have to leave a piece of protective paper taped in place where it is. Remove it. They are talking about a plastic part of the scanner that should not be removed. Also you will want to use a USB cable for set up on your WiFi. Other than that One Time Learning Curve, this is a beauty of a machine. Base on my initial experience: 5 stars out of 5! Buy it (especially if you get a Sale Price). This one is a Keeper!!!

I recently purchased the new Epson Workforce 840 and I love it. The touch screen control panel is very user friendly along with an excellent Quick Guide that comes with the printer. The printer was also easy to set up on our home wireless network, I didn't even have to call in the computer experts. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to buy a new all-in-1 printer with high quality printing/copying and other features of faxing, scanning and photo printing.

just got it and it seems to be a fine printer. the setup however was somewhat strange. It suggest to use a cable the first time setting up wireless. I did this and could not get it to work. I then went with connecting without the cable and it worked fine. without cable was with a desktop XP computer. with the cable that did not work was with a labtop running windows 7.
