Nice little unit for home/office use. Setup was not quite as easy even following supplied directions. Ended up using keyboard to connect unit to network, which actually worked easier than using USB cable for initial setup. Gotta luv that built in WiFi. Test page printed clean and crisp, now for the fun stuff.

There are a lot of thngs that I like about the 840 All-In One Printer. It is pretty simple to set up and easy to use. The only thing that I don't like, is that it doesn't send faxes to e-mail. If you can get passed that, it is a great value for the money.

Great Printer--Epson WorkForce 840 All in one

The printer works great. The information that addresses the software could be improved by explaining the necessary steps for setup in order--one page for 32bit computers another for 64bit. I also believe the software could be improved after installation is complete. There are a limited number of types of paper than may be used by type and size and once this is set a single page drop down tied to the specific setup would be GREAT. When the print selection page drops down now if I am doing as I believe is right requires me to reinsert what I priviously setup as the types of paper and two sided printinj I need a the momnet. It means walking over the same ground over and over again. I realize this is difficult programing but it would sell more machines.

The setup on my wife's laptop was a snap. She uses 32-bit Windows 7. However, on my desktop I use 64-bit Windows 7 and the setup failed saying several files did not load and to restart the installation. Finally I opened the control panel and clicked on add a printer on the network and it had no difficulty locating the printer. Windows downloaded the driver and the printer worked fine on both computers. Prints, copies, and scans in very high quality. Will not use the fax and the printer only supports Blackberry and I Phones, so our Android phones will not link. Very good printer, very fast, very high quality. Buy one.
