Whether conventional Bake, or Convection, Roasting, or Crisping with Broil, this oven's well dispersed heating elements and fans from behind and above just cook better, and allow you to change modes to adapt to the progress of the food and cookware.

WIFI capabilities

Love knowing I can use my smartphone to operate this GE oven! I also love that the timer has an audible feature that is distinguishable from other appliances, it also has a light bar that mover as the time countdown so if you aren't close enough to read the time the light bar gives a clue as to how much time is left on the timer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ruined Christmas dinner

Purchased right before Christmas. We turned it on for a couple of hours as recommended several days before using it to cook a prime rib for Christmas. During the cooking time smoke was pouring out from the vent below the door. There was nothing more than normal meat drippings in the roasting pan. We had to open all our doors and windows and it was freezing outside. The inside of the window is now coated with residue that doesn't come off after running a cleaning cycle (I tried both the steam clean option and the regular high heat option). Even after several months I smell an odor when the oven is on as if it's baking off some noxious element.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No panel control lighting

this Is a GE profile single wall oven. Cooks good but you cannot see the controls without a flashlight. It’s a terrible design idea to not be able to see the controls. Why would they design this.

Nice oven

So far it works as expected. The nice feature is the remote control features but it was very difficult to set up. Should be more intuitive but takes a lot of time even for me whom is fairly tech savvy.

Great Features!!

My Kitchen is being remodeled and my GE Profile Wall Oven arrived on 11/08/14. This unit will be up and running before Thanksgiving. Based on its features and its appearance, I should be receiving excellent results from this oven. Our Old Bisque GE Profile Dual Fuel Range was excellent for the last 6 years, and now, a relative is enjoying the same results as we did. I'm also looking forward to operating this oven from my Smart Phone.

Out of date technology

- Only a 12 hour clock
- Can't set the countdown timer to exactly one hour - after 1 second it drops to only 59 seconds left. Nobody running any tests on the logic?
