Great replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lady week after my 25 yr old machine finally died. I had paths replaced on it about 5 times in that time . This is the updated version of hat I had. It seems to be more efficient producing more ice faster so far so good. Like others say the machine is a bit noisey but not much different from prior model

Lots of clear bar ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bar ice machine. Make sure you have a pump or gravity drain. Our plumber didn't know what he was doing and flooded our wood floors! This machine make LOTS of ice. We often have to turn it off a while. Wish it had two ice level making speeds like our old one did. Also would like that the inner door would shut rather than flop down but all in all a great machine so far.

Great Ice Maker!

While I've only had it for a couple weeks, I have to say this it beat my expectations. This unit replaced a 14 year old Whirlpool unit that provide good service over the years, but needed replaced. This unit is narrower than my old one so I had to put in a filler piece, but the features like built in water filter, sleek look, quietness, etc. are all welcome. The only nit pick I have is that the opening is a bit cramped with the scoop storage (especially compared to my old unit which was wider). Bottom line, I'm very happy!

We like the small cubes, the easy off switch, and the ease in changing the filter.Not as noisy as our Scotsman particularly when the bin is almost full or full. Very good product.

Our Whirlpool Gold 15" ice maker was purchased a couple of months and we are very happy with it. It was easy to install and produces good quality ice. The machine is so quiet we had to open the door to make sure it was actually running!
