Good icemaker

Ihave had this for about a month. This is the fourth one i have had over nearly thirty years. It is the first i have had to have as a replacement from another on wearing out so they are reliable appliances. I love the clarity and quantity of ice that it yields. This is the noisest of any that i have owned, however. It could use better acoustic padding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This ice maker is the "coolest" thing ever!

I got this last month to supplement my refrigerator especially for big events. After tasting the wonderful clear ice it makes, it is the only ice I use. It tastes delicious and I love it. I am so happy this "luxury" has become a necessity.

I am replacing a 15 yr old whirlpool ice machine. The small improvements are delightful when comparing to my previous whirlpool ice machine. Water filter is now a part of the unit and easy to replace. Ice scoop is now black. Previous color was white and it sometimes would get lost in the ice bin under a lot of ice when one did not put it away properly. Now with black, it is a lot easier to find. The lighted ice bin is a plus. Waterline connection is better engineered then my previous model with a retaining clamp to ensure stress relief. I am an engineer and these improvements made a very positive impact on me.

My new Whirlpool ice maker is an appliance I would not want to be without! IT MAKES ENTERTAINING SO MUCH EASIER and it puts the finishing touches to any kitchen, look and efficiency. It serves my family and my guest with the perfect size and amount of ice, just open that door!

Bought to replace another brand that was 10 yes old that had issues from day 1. Managed to keep it going with help of a pricey service agreement. Decided it would be cheaper to buy new Whirlpool with 10 yr newer technology. So far have been really impressed. Like the quick ice feature and the water filter in the unit. Makes ice quickly. A little noisy, but that's OK, it works.

The icemaker is a very nice looking product and I like the type of cube it makes, much better than those half moom cubes that do not work well in a cocktail. The only issue I have is I wish I would have been better informed about the drain system. This machine creates a bit of water and I did not have a drain nearby, I had to purchase the optional pump kit. Wish I would have known that ahead of time.

When the water runs, it is a bit loud, but you get use to it. Other then that, we love it!!!!
