I bought this mat about a month ago to use for a yoga/pilates class on my campus. It is wonderful!! Very comfortable, no icky smell like the others mentioned below and I can take it anywhere!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone. : )
Pros: beautiful, Comfortable, easy to transport
Cons: moves on carpet (typical)

I am very pleased with this mat. I love the green color/tree design, and it definitely serves its purpose in terms of cushioning. Yes, it smelled slightly for a few days, but as the instructions said, after a few days of airing out the smell disappears. I notice other reviewers say they had problems slipping: I have not had any particular problems with this. After I've gone running, so when I already have sweaty hands, I find that my hands slip a bit during downward dog - but not in any really problematic way. Frankly, if it starts to become a problem I just scoot to the front of the mat and put my hands on the floor for downward dog. So, on the whole, I don't think this mat has a problem with slipping.

I have been looking for a yoga mat for some time and it was recommended to check out this site. I love the Tree of Life Yoga Mat and am so happy I got it! It provides a great surface to practice on and reminds me of my connection with the world when I am on it :) It has enough stickiness to help me hold my poses, too.
