[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this ice maker to replace previosu model made by Kitchenaide. Warranty was great and had for 8 years. When it went bad (as they all do) I ran straight back to kitchenaide for replacement. Can't beat this brand or model.

Design flaw

We consistently have problems with the water hose from the water pan disconnecting from the dispenser. This results in water pouring into the ice bin and melting all the ice. Very very disappointing for such an expensive appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did not realize it was coming with a pump instead of just gravity feed but went ahead and let installer put in with pump. It makes a terrible racket every maybe 30 minutes that lasts only 10 seconds or less but is quite annoying and loud. Currently looking at how to have pump removed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been out of use this time for almost a month. No one seems to be in hurry to do anything. Last month it was out about 3 weeks. This was fixed and now they tell me it is the filter needs changing. Only one thing wrong with that--there are none! On back order for who knows. I purchased this because I had an old one and it started giving me trouble so I bought a new one. It at least gave me ice!
