large tank to wash the clothes

I have used this washing machine for about 3 months. It is so much better than the one I had. It was a brand name machine and lasted less than 2 years. The Whirlpool washer does not shake or bang. It is very quiet running. The settings are great. They are easy to read and follow. I am very pleased with this machine. I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Second Duet

This is our second front load Whirlpool duet washer. We purchased the first one 11 years ago when we moved to a rural area and wanted to have a low water use washer. The second washer has even more features and seems to be quieter! We refer to Consumer Reports before making any appliance purchase to ensure that our purchase will be reliable and a good value.

Worked great...at first

In my view, a washing machine should work reliably for at least 10 years. It worked great for the first 4 years, although I quickly learned that the time estimated time till the run was through was often a SERIOUS underestimate. A load estimated at 40 minutes often took closer to 90. In the past year, however, things have gotten much worse. For reasons I don't understand, I will get an F06 error and the machine will quit working before it's gone 2 minutes. Sometimes, I can get it to run by re-adjusting the load, turning it off, or, as a last resort unplugging. I've tried running smaller (less than half capacity) and then it might go. The repair person cleaned the contacts (because he said the other alternatives would be VERY expensive) and it worked for 2 weeks. This machine is touted as an energy/water saver but If I have to run it twice as often, those benefits quickly disappears. Add the additional time it takes to run a load under the best of circumstances and I would NOT recommend this machine to anyone.

the ease of use. we have them on pedestals as i have a bad back and have trouble bending over. I am a VietNam vet. Would highly recommend this product.

We are very happy with our Whirlpool Washing Machine. I read the manual cover to cover to ensure I get the best results choosing wash cycles. We are very pleased how well this product cleans our clothes.

This washing machine has easy to follow set up and operating instructions, and it is very simple and straightforward to use. It is quieter than my old washing machine and I am very satisfied with it so far.

Great purchase

This is the first Whirlpool appliance we have purchased and so far we are very pleased. We bought mainly on price, but the features of this washing machine are great, the controls are easy to use and it is very quiet. We're now thinking about replacing our dryer with the matching Whirlpool dryer.

Washer takes much too long to complete cycle.

I had previously had a Whirlpool Duet set and absolutely loved them.. When I had to replace the washer I ordered another one and am very disappointed in it. The washer cycle takes too long. The controls are not as good as the previous model and I do not think it does as good a job.I hope I can win a new one or win the lottery to buy another one because i sure am not happy with this one.
