Lousy performance

Several service issues. Front leaks, poor. Load balance and dispenser traw doesn't clear...mildew inside above dispenser tray

This washer is big, so it is great if you have children.

I like the size of this washer because we grow through clothes pretty quick around my house. I like all of the options available and also that I can customize each load based on what is needed for the soiled laundry. I'm not a huge fan of the touch screen parts because we bump them quite a bit (our washer and dryer are in the walkway by the back door) and have even stopped a load mid wash and had to start again a couple times. I've also experienced some oil like stains on clothing but I'm not sure whether that is from the washer itself or where they are coming from. Another thing I dislike is the ring around the door, it collects socks and the water never seems to disappear even though I leave the door open after each load to air dry it. Overall I like the washer and would recommend, I just wish they had worked out a few of the kinks before I purchased it.

Great in every way

I love everything about it. . I do not feel guilty about washing too often because of how much little water it uses and very little soap needed. The tumble free is such a great feature. I like that I do not have to calculate how much water I need for the size load I throw in because it does it for you. Love it, love it.

I am impressed with the quality of the cleaning that the Whirlpool Duet produces, while using the least amount of water in any washer I have ever had, which is great for me to save money on my water bill while keeping our clothes so clean.We were unable to put the laundry doors back on, and since the washer/dryer are in the hall just beside the kitchen, we were concerned about noise. But both the washer and dryer as so quiet, as well as attractive - we enjoy having the set as part of the appliance "d?cor" in our house.

performance and style

A 10 year old GE unit had seen it's day. I did not realize how much so until we put in this unit. It does everything better. I am a bit surprised with the noise during spin cycles, however when done, the clothes are clean and only need a fraction of the time in the dryer. Very pleased.
