I like my new machine. The only fault is the touch flat buttons do not always work the first time you push them. Other than that it is great.

Really cleans the clothes

At first I was surprised that the wash loads took so long, but then I realized the clothes actually got a lot cleaner because they did the old fashioned thing of soaking the clothes. Stains and odors are removed really well and it doesn't use much water.

Talk about a refreshing change from the drudgery of washing day! As a shorter person I was always head first in my top loader and so this front loader is a dream... also more room without the agitator thing in the middle... clothes come out almost dry so the items I put in the dryer take no time at all or if I hang to dry it is so fast!

Very good washer

I have had this washer for 2 months now. I think it does a very good job cleaning the clothes. I have not noticed a difference from my old top loading washer. I do leave the door open after it is done washing to air it out as others have suggested. There is water in and around the seal that takes a few days to dry. I have been very pleased with its performance. It is very quiet too. I have mine stacked on top of each other and that is working out very well. It will also handle very large loads. I have washed my king size bedspread in it with no problems.All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

I have been sorely disappointed with the short life span of my last two washers; less that five years before needing a replacement! I love all the features of this new Whirlpool Duet, and hope to have it for a long, long time!

We are getting the cleanest laundry on the Duet since Grandma stopped boiling the clothes in the cast iron tub in the backward.
