This refrigerator was needed for a second home that did not require lots of "bells and whistles." As such, this model has terrific quality at a great price with quiet operation. Ice maker optiion was easy to install. I would buy again.

Great look and plenty storage

I love the look of this product, very modern. I like that you can post magnets, as other products steal will not attach magnets. The product leaves plenty of space for storage and easy access.

The fridge had lots of room for all out leftovers and cooking projects. Being a top freezer,my 8 year old can easily reach everything. We are enjoying our new refrigerator.

Gets cold

This is not the model I would have chosen if I would have had more time, as it was the best choice available from the limited appliance retailers in my part of the world. I'm constrained on space and needed width more than height or depth.It does work well and am pleasantly surprised on the greatly reduced electricity consumption.It is noisy while the compressor is running with a lot of "gurgling" right after it shuts off.The lack of a light in the freezer is annoying, but something I'll get used to. The ice maker is very slow and the recommendation is to adjust the freezer control, but alas, there is no seperate freezer control.I'll give this an average overall, and yes recommend it if one can live with the lack of conveniences.I doubt it will last the 21 years my previous appliance did.

Excellent Value

I purchased this refrigerator for a kitchen remodel in the 2nd floor of my duplex. I did not want fancy features like water in the door or automatic ice. I liked the size, design and quality behind all Whirlpool products. The only disappointment I had with it is that where the handle was moved to the other side, the circles were not sufficient to hide the other holes. Other than that, I have been very pleased with all the features, the simplicity, the performance and the design. This is a basic refrigerator which I was looking for with a good look and good basic functionality. It fits the bill for me! Please keep making various basic refrigerators, there is a need.

I,ve had a bad experience with another brand even when it was new.put up with it for years .Finally had enough ,and got a Whirlpool. And i just love it.My daughter bought one for a house she owns after i bought mine . Works really good.

The size

Like the size of it. It fits in the same space as the old one. Which wasn't as big inside like this one. The ease of seeing every thing inside is nice.
