Setup is quick & easy. Dishes , pots & pans , silverware all come out sparkling. It rolls easy and hooks up fast. It is a bit more noisy because it is a portable , but not super loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact dishwasher but has problems

There are only 2 things I can say positive about this dishwasher: it IS compact and it IS Energy Star rated. If you have a small kitchen with little room to spare this is a great dishwasher to have. The problems are many though...first it ties up your kitchen faucet for 1.5 hours on the most efficient setting. The upper rack has an additional rack that folds down for smaller cups which is practically useless. The tines that hold the dishes in place are spaced too close to each other and I spend more time trying to make my adult size dishes fit in the space allowed than I should. The silverware bucket holder came with these tops that allow only a few pieces of silverware to fit it - toss those - they are useless. I wish the purchase had come with a starter sample of the "salt" & " rinse aid". I do like the concept of the power cord and connection hoses disappearing into the back of the appliance but it takes a lot of patience to get them to retract. If you can put up with all these drawbacks - then this is the dishwasher for you.

Very convenient in an apartment, but short life

Excellent performance and convenience for 2.5 years, then the electronics module apparently failed. That item is so expensive to replace that service doesn't make sense. Built-ins often last 10+ years without expensive service...sometimes 15 or even 20...so we didn't expect this one to be so short-lived, given its initial cost.

Works great but the connections could be stronger

We've had our unit since July 2013 and it's been working great. Not too loud and runs for about 2 hours on normal cycle. The only complaint is the connection hose is not very strong. Be gentle and grab the connections by the hose part and not the connectors because ours broke. It's just plastic. It was a hassle getting the hose changed with the new plastic connector, but way cheaper than buying another unit when this one is still running and it was just the broken hose. It's smaller than regular unit and perfect for a family of 2 or 3. The spacing between the plates are a good size; not too small and not too big.
