I have only had the v750-m pro a couple of weeks and honestly have not explored many of the capabilities.
So far all I have been doing is scanning a collection of approximately 4000 slides and am about half way through.
After that I have some B&W negatives and some color which I shall try then a lot of old prints.
The slides are a project I have been wanting to accomplish for a number of years and this unit has exceeded my expectations. The ability to scan twelve slides at once is a definite positive. When it scans it saves each slide to a separate image file and assigns a number. There are some which I plan on going back to to try removing dust spots, scratches ect
I had previously tried a pacific film scaner which did a good job but only did one slide at a time. With this one I purchased a couple of extra slide holders so I can unload and reload one while the other is scanning , greatly speeding up the process
For what I am doing I would highly reccomend this unit.

Can not handle small negatives

Epson V750 is great. Only that it seems that it is not possible to scan smaller than 21.3*34,6 mm negatives. I have many films 21.3.*21.3 and even 10.2*15mm and those have to be scanned without the filmholder.
I wonder if I just do not understand something or is this the way V750 works???

Scanning the past to save for the future.

You get what you pay for. Buy quality, get quality.
I've only used the Epson Perfection V750 Pro scanner a few times, but with the Epson and other software that comes with it, as well as my use of Photoshop C5 it all came out well and was easy to use. The scanner is designed for many types of scanning and I'm sure with more frequent use, my experience will only get infinitely better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We were looking for a scanner that would allow us to scan our dental x-rays into an attachment file and this one is it. All of our x-rays comes thru clear and crisp. So far we have not had any complaints from our insurance carriers.
We're happy that we have finally found a scanner that works.

This unit was purchased to replace a more expensive unit which did stacks of slides at a time.
The old unit jammed on old or warped slides.
I can't jam this one, so I am very satisfied.
Also, it corrects color and such very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Scanner

I purchased this scanner in order to organize over 20000 slides and negatives that my father had generated during his lifetime. He had everything from 35mm up to 4x5 negatives. The scanner was easy to set up and comes with templates that handle various film formats easily. You can adjust the image resolution and the scanner supports multiple file formats. The unit also came with Adobe Photoshop, along with the Epson software.

This is a great scanner. I have had amazing results scanning old family negatives, photos, and slides with this beautiful, high quality scanner. The software package included is a huge plus. Together, they have allowed me to breath life back into these age old memories. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this scanner to anyone. The Perfection V750 M should handle anything that you throw at it.

Great Scanner for the Price

I am impressed by the scanner, but dismayed by what I consider a major blooper.
The IT8 targets included are not the ones issued by LaserSoft and so one is not able to take advantage of the calibration command within the LaserSoft/SilverFast scanning menu.

I already have Monaco color calibration software and was looking forward to being able to do a quick calibration from within SilverFast.
If the information on the website had been clear about the targets included and the fact that there are LaserSoft targets available, I would have availed myself of that choice.
