Over the Range Microwave

Worked well for seven years and then control board went out. The machine is still clean and looks new. Warranty is only one year, which shows GE is not willing to back their product longer. Cost to replace it is the price of another microwave. Such a disappointment in product quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Microwave

This is the 4th GE Over the Range Microwave I have owned. The first 3 were great and gave good service. This replacement one is questionable. The glass tray is slightly smaller and the power is less than previously. The worst change is that the fan comes on when the oven is in use. That makes it very noisy!

Reheat feature is not clear, prior generation was more detailed I.e. plate, soup, etc.

So far so good! We have only heated water for tea but we love how it looks. Fan is a lot quieter than our last microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!
