The microwave is a little expensive for the features and noise level during operation. Controls are confusing.

Very quiet

Runs much quieter than our last GE over the stove microwave. Seems to vent well. The door is also easier to shut and open as well as quieter than our last GE microwave. But the all the buttons including the numbers buttons are MUCH, MUCH harder to push until they beep than our last one. I suppose we will get used to them eventually, but you really have to push HARD to make them connect. So unnecessary. Why change that feature? Makes no sense. Looks good (white one) over the white stove and oven. Our last GE lasted 10 years before giving out. We hope we get the same from this one.

GE Over the Range Microwave

We take exceptional care of our appliances and my replacement microwave died this morning, at only 5 years old. I'm very disappointed in the lifespan of the GE products and will replace it with a better brand.

We had to replace our 20 year old Kenmore microwave when it started making growling sounds. We chose this one based on the reviews and the
price. It feels and sounds flimsy compared to our old one and it doesn't have many of the features I enjoyed, but it's adequate so far.

It has been years since I need an appliance but I remembered Hagedorn Appliances. When the delivery man showed up he said nice last name. Our last name were the same. He did an excellent job installing my microwave and Friendly. 0
