A key kitchen tool

The microwave oven was provided by the builder of new house. The oven does a good job heating, making popcorn, and defrosting. The oven has a two speed vent and filters. The vent fan is noisy. The noise level does not change when low speed is selected. The filters are flimsy and often fall out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We owned an earlier model of this same oven. It was a great unit. The newer model seems to be cheaply built. The new unit is the same power rating and requires more time to cook the same items cooked in the old. We bought the new unit because it was cosmetically identical to the old microwave and matched our other GE Appliances. This mistake will not happen again.

Poor quality - the magnetron went with only 14 months of light use.

This microwave was included in the park model mobile that we purchased. The vent fan has two speeds which is nice. There is also mute & lock controls feature. There is a light feature with two different settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just bought this microwave and am very disappointed. It looks like a much cheaper, smaller version of my previous one. I was told the only difference between the two was a few "bells and whistles".

I was never happy with the 950W performance. Had a similar model and experience with it lasting 4 years. Is this typical.
