Does the job in most cases. However, when using the popcorn button it always comes out slightly burnt.

I have always loved GE profile appliances & have been happy with them, so much so that I bought my new one site unseen. I knew I wanted the Stainless Steele,
GE Profile. I called my appliance man, he had one, brought it next day & installed it.
I love it & I am that I bought it.

An Upgraded Replacement

I bought this unit to replace an earlier over-the-stove GE Microwave that lasted three years. The model is pretty much the same but some of the functions have been improved but nothing exciting. It works just fine and I have only one objection - the VENT control sound like a 747 is landing in the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this 2 months ago and it has worked but there are issues. The turntable skips and the center piece that turns the turntable seems loose. The plastic front edging under the microwave and under the door is sharp and I have scratched myself on it. It does not seem to fit 100%. I previously owned a similar model and it had much better construction. I would not buy this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
