I wouldn't ever buy this phone again

The phone freezes and the battery is horrible and I have to turn off my phone and then turn it back on again so I can tex on the keyboard. The camera is really great though but it's impossible to upload music from itunes to the phone
Pros: great camer
Cons: terrible battery, freezes, restart the phone, big, not portable, music player is horrible

I have tried 2 of the Captivate Glide. I thought the 1st was defective so I exchanged it. It freezes up several times a day. I even keep it locked but I still have problems. It will give me a message that it is trying to install a new operating system that will cause a critical problem. It does this with it in my pocket and locked! It is not very durable at all!
Pros: good camera
Cons: freezes, the keyboard doesn't glide easily, not durable

This phone is perfect. I flushed my phone down the toilet and it was lost down there for three days until they found it and gave it back. I put it in a bag of rice for three days and when I put it back together it worked perfectly. This phone is amazing Samsung is an awesome brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

IEverything about this phone was bad. At first it didn't work, but after repairs it "worked", if you can call android at it's best "working". I'm so glad that I got the Lumia 900 instead, windows phone is amazing!
Cons: poor navigation, operating system, software bugs

I received this phone as a gift on Christmas. The key board is semi-awkward to type on, seeing the square shape of it. The touch screen is surprisingly sensitive, making it easier to press things, opposed to my old Iphone 3GS. The internet is also faster, and the phone seems to have an easier time connecting. I have had very little problems with it, that is, until recently. All of a sudden, my phone won't accept a charge. It won't even acknowledge that there is a charger plugged into it. I have tried numerous outlets, all resulting in the same, a dead phone. It is extremely upsetting that my phone won't charge. I am bringing it to my local AT&T store tomorrow, to make them fix it/trade it for a new phone. I take rather good care of this phone, and rarely drop it, so I don't know why this problem would just sprout up. It is extremely inconvenient, and even though I will be getting it fixed, (hopefully,) it should not have happened to begin with. I loved this phone, that is, until now.

No spell check with hardware keyboard

I was so happy when i bought this phone. Finally a phone with hardware keyboard. Then i've discovered that there isn't predictive text and spell check when using the hardware keyboard. What is wrong with Samsung and ATT? No spell check, really?!?! I mean, English is not my native language, and my writhing is good, but every once in a while i can make a mistake, so i would like to catch it before i send the e-mail. Some keyboard apps on the market can do the spelling with the hardware keyboard, but when you enable them, you get big warning that switching a keyboard could log all of your input (credit cards, passwords). Why would i buy third party keyboard app, then? To log my input?

initially it is hard to figure out how to use

It is a great product once one figures out how it works. I love the clarity of the pictures but the place to click to take the pictures should have been in a spot that's easier to access when trying to take a picture while trying to be in it at the same time. Also when trying to anwer the phone it's difficult to access the answer button resulting in missed calls a lot. I do love the big screen though. I haven' t used the other products like iphone or blackberry but I think samsung has a great product.
Pros: menus, camera/video quality, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, good for texting
Cons: freezes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezzes way too much. except for that its fine. but the freezing is so annoying and if ur playing music it makes a noice thats unbearable and it finds new ways to freeze. honestly i thought i needed the keyboard but all u need is swype so get the galaxy or the note if you have enough money
