Excellent product. AT&T got it right!

I love the phone.
i was on an old AT&T plan that was discontinued. When that plan ended I had to get another phone, which was not a smart phone as I did not like the smart phone selection at that time as they did not have any with keyboards (which I needed as I have medium length fingernails).
I waited for MONTHS for this type of phone to come out! AT&T corporate personally called me to inform me about this phone.
I got it last week and LOVE it.
It is easy to use. Sound quality is good. Keyboard is great. Touch is good too, not too over-responsive.
Nice sized screen. Decent quality of phone.
The folks at the AT&T store helped me move photos and contacts and off I went... sooo easy to use.
Camera seems decent. 8mp is good too. I wish it had an LED flash but so far this flash seems decent.
Battery life is ok, but I don't think any of the larger smart phones have great battery life. So far battery is ok.... internet of course uses more power.
I do wish it had the 1080 video and a larger internal memory, otherwise it is GREAT.
I wanted to stay with ATT as I like to be able to talk and surf at the same time and my rep at corporate (Katie) was so helpful that I waited it out with AT&T until they had a phone I felt would serve my needs.

Ok, I really like this phone. It has a lot of bells and whistles, but let's be honest they all do at this level. I will be taking this phone back and probably getting the HTC titan. Here's the reason. When you go down to this phone, you have a phone that is not as thin and that is ok because you probably got this phone because you like the slide out keyboard and thus the extra size is an ok sacrifice. So you gave up a couple other things that you expect from phones at this level like the 1080p etc. However, if you are a texter who enjoys using a slide keyboard as opposed to a onscreen keyboard, be warned! When using the slide keyboard there is no predictive text, it is only available when using the onscreen. So this will really slow down your texting AND is like going down in technology instead of up! (Even my year old phone which is also a slide, has predictive text in the slide mode!) If one of your deciding factors in getting this phone was because it is slide, do not get this phone, you will be disappointed in the slide features.
Pros: menus
Cons: no predictive text in slide mode, camera video quality, not good for texting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the power button does not work any more and it freezes on me ALOT.
Pros: battery life, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: volume level, operating system, bulky/heavy, freezes

I have had the phone for a month now and I love it. Kind. Of getting used to the QWERTY slide out but I love all the other features. Pics are great but the self image camera could have a better quality of a picture

pros:
lets start out with the camera and flash. they are very nice. that's all there is to it. it takes 720p video, and it's nice saturated color. (see cons about camera in cons below) it's very easy to use, and is good for a first time phone user seeing as i bought it for my eleven year old son.

lets move on to cons.
The battery life is less than mediocre for a person like me who uses their phone ALOT. you have to charge it nightly. it lags and freezes from time to time as well. Now, for the worst part of the phone. you cannot use the internet without a wifi connection. but if you are someone who only uses their phones for call and texting, this is for you. i would reccomend this to people who are looking for a simple phone that honestly doesn't do much.

this phone is so amazing! not only super duper fast, but u can use facebook, google, email, anything!! the camera quality and features is amazing!! it should be worth 10,000 dollars!!

my friend had this phone first and i was always using it so then i got it and its probally the best thing i ever did... its small sleek design makes its easy and fast to use and its perfect pocket size i just love samsung phones and nobody makes samsung phones better then att i travel alot and if i didnt have att i wouldnt have no way to stay connected with my family or friends
