i read the reviews before i got this phone and now i'm reading the reviews now, and i find it amazing some of the things written about it...the phone is just awesome, there's no other word to describe it..the battery life is ok, but not as bad as all the reviews indicate, if you stay on any phone for hours at a time, and play games, etc...quite naturally the btry will need recharged...that a fact of life with any phone..
i'd recommend this phone to anyone and everyone, it works great and the display is just amazing...

Amazing phone

I absolutely love this phone. I never write reviews for things, but out of respect for this work of art I just felt the need to. This phone is huge, which might sound like a turn off to most people, but once you use it, you'll stay with the bigger phones. The image is amazing, and everything is so easy to use. Occasionally the phone vibrates and turns off but turns back on, but Only if I'm screwing around with it and keep on turning the screen on and off But it rarely does this and it's not too big of a problem. The phone is so customizable, which is one of the reasons I got this over the iPhone, the iPhones are completely uncustomizable while androids are the total opposite. And he camera is absolutely amazing and totally blows the iPhones camera away. The Internet is very very fast with ZERO lag
But battery life isn't all that fantastic when you first get it, but you can train it to be a lot better. I was just playing games and pandora for a while and only lost 2% battery. and the phone does not feel cheap in the least bit, it feels very strong and anything but cheap. However this phone is kinda slippery so you should buy a case right away. Also, the screen is completely fingerprint resistant (unless you're hands are very dirty or greasy) even the glass is beautiful on this
In conclusion this phone is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody, go out and get this!!! And don't let not having gingerbread not let you buy this, because Samsung and AT&T just released it but are editing it right now so it will be out very soon

Excellent phone!!

I've had this phone since December 2011 and it is incredible! The large 4.5" display is a huge step up from my old Eternity II and the thinness makes placing it in my pocket easy. The main screen is easy to use and navigate to find whatever app you're looking for. The Social update bar always keeps me informed on Facebook and Twitter, and having Angry Birds built in cures bordom easily. With Full brightness, this phone really shows of an extremely realistic display of colors that looks unreal. Even pictures come out amazing with the 8 MP camera. Like all android phones, it's a good plan to invest in a case, like the Platinum Series, and a Screen protector. The battery usually lasts for around a day with moderate use, but like any device with apps, they take up a ton of battery. I have had the occasional system freeze but usually restarts itself with no issue. I really like the mp3 player and the speakers that play loud and clear. In general, this phone is the best one I've had yet.

I've had this phone for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. This is my first smartphone and I have to say that i have never had a phone like this before. Everyday I'm finding new uses for it. It just does so much. The screen is incredible. it's bright, beautiful, and is about as big as anyone would want a phone's screen to be. Being a sort of tech-savy person, I had no problems learning how to work the phone. It is relatively easy, considering how much it is capable of doing. I originally went into the store and wanted to get an iPhone, but I fell in love with this phone. It has an amazing 8mp camera, which is a true pleasure to use. There are only two real downsides to this phone for me. The first is the battery. It usually lasts me the whole day, but it's practically dead by the time I get home at the end of the day. The second thing that I am not entirely pleased with is the size. Because of the large screen, it takes a few days to get used to holding the phone (when calling). I have a pretty bulky case on this because I do not want to break it. Other than these two downfalls, I love this phone.

Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy

Makes The iPhone Look Like A Joke!!

Great screen, awesome for playing games and watching videos. the only con is the keyboards are slow in responding. This phone wins easily over the iphone 4. My fiance is so jealous, and wants to dump his iphone for this. It is so easy and andriod is so open. Just an overall awesome device. I would recommend this to anyone!!!!!

Way under-rated smartphone.

For the price, their is no better phone. The battery isn't necessarily up to spec for me but given the power this thing needs to use the battery does just fine seeing as it just a single core phone. It could definately use that gingerbread update to perfect it's fluidity. It is very loud and I have yet to find a single software problem besides the out of date operation system. It feels like a very high quality phone. While most phone tend to come with problems when downloading certain applications, this one is 99% flawless (Talkback asks for a little too much personal information) The surround sound with headphones is amazingly loud given that this phone was not built for listening to music.
You just can't appreciate the sheer size of this phone until you actually have it, it may as well be a tablet. I wouldn't give this phone up for anything but the SGS2, not even the google nexus. It could use more memory and better memory allocation but other than that it does everything I need it to do every single day.
I would recommend this to anybody interested in the world of smartphones and getting away from failing apple products. Other than that, Still waiting on gingerbread ATT! Anyday now!
