Samsung Infuse (refurb)...how can I put this...oh yeah..AWESOME!!!!
I will tell you, whoever turned this phone back in because you probably didn't want it..I say THANK YOU!!
When I got this, I expected to get a phone with some scratches, or dings...instead I got a piece of digital perfection!
#1..OVERALL...It will take me a few days to get used to the feel of it after owning Motorola Cliq XT(small phone)
#2..SCREEN...The 4.5 inch display is amazing!! Very Bright and clear...I love it!!!
#3..APPS..I can't believe how many pre-installed apps there are..good selection..maybe next time they upgrade this phone...PLEASE ADD THE KINDLE READER FREE!!
#4..Very smart phone..I love the Talk-to-text for texting. It makes it easier for me to text..granted the speech recognition software needs a little more tweaking..but, overall, a very good tool to have when u can't type..which leads me to one of my fave features...
#5..The KEYBOARD..now, I wanted to get a phone with slide-out QWERTY board..but, when I saw that this has one of, if not the biggest screen, I knew that it would be a big enough for my fat fingers...2 enthusiastic and happy thumbs up!!!
#6..I love the fact that I have a couple more 'home' screens to arrange my apps the way I want them!!
#7..BATTERY..Now, I now that the bigger and better the phone with more functions and tasks the better the battery should be, right? I don't think so! The battery life is pretty good..charged my phone overnight, went to a few websites throughout the day, played a few of my games, listened to a some music and videos I uploaded from my laptop, and, by the time I got home, I still had 46% battery life..so, overall not too bad..normal use+normal battery drainage.
So, to sum up..I LOVE THIS PHONE!! I use it mostly for music, video, texting, and talk. I think once I figure out how to use the phone..I'll be VERY HAPPY!!
I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone!! If you're nervous about upgrading to a bigger and better phone..DON'T BE!! This has to be one of the BEST PHONES EVER!!
Good luck..and I HOPE YOU PICK MY REVIEW!!!!

Best Android So Far!!

I've had this phone since it's release and I can honestly say, this phone is great! The battery life isn't bad, of course it could always be better (who wouldnt want less charging time) but really that's based on the operating system not the phone. I love the big screen and clear display. The only downside I can think of is the front camera. Compared to the Evo, the front facing camera quality isn't that impressive on this. Would be nice if they step it up a few MP or just the quality of the camera itself. Other than that I still say this is better than the others. :) For such a big screen, I love how light this phone is and I love showing it off when people see how big and clear the screen is. Sadly, I've dropped this phone more times than I can count and yet it's still in GREAT, dare i say PERFECT condition. I must thank my BG case for that. It's like my phone feels nothing. :)
Also I didnt realize it at first but this phone comes with TONS of memory, it's like I bought an 8gb memory card for nothing. lol
Works seamlessly for syncing business emails and calendar updates!
I may as well mention the battery cover, though it's not an actual issue. If I'm not careful, prying the cover off can & will mess up your nail polish, ladies. lol
Overall I don't see myself getting tired of this phone anytime soon, (and trust me, I'm a chique techie, I love upgrading my phone) especially with the roms & updates being released soon. As of right now, this phone satisfied all of my cellular needs. That says alot coming from me :)
Pros: tools, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, games, speaker, battery life, durable, lightweight, lots of internal memory
Cons: battery cover

Better than great

First, know that my cell phone is my "life phone." I don't have a land line, there is no backup. This is it. Now...
Love the look, the capability and the design. It's super-cute, so sleek & slimline that it's a comfy carry even with the large screen. Does *everything* and keeps the speed. The sound is amazing - for talking and for listening to media. The visuals: crystal clear.
The camera is incredible. Takes the best pics. Love that there is both front & rear camera function.
Since I use the phone so heavily, it's nice to have access to my fave online networks: Google Plus could be better supported, but I guess that will come.
I really have no complaints, just a wishlist: that the battery lasted longer and that it was a bit more user-friendly right out of the box. The screen lock button can be awkward as it's placed right where I tend to grasp to handle the phone. I have overloaded on the apps & have had it freeze a couple times. That remedied with a battery pull. BTW - the battery cover is the BEST ever. So easy to remove and replace. Great for ladies with longer nails or guys with larger hands. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you've had to struggle (as with Blackberry) to either figure out how to remove a cover or manage to get it done.
Love it much! Was going to get the S2 and couldn't afford it. Haven't been unhappy with this one yet. I get a lot of compliments on the look, then when I show it off, people REALLY like everything about it. I have a diehard Crackberry friend who is seriously thinking of making the move to Android - all because of "Slick." Yep. I love it so much, I named my phone!
(OK - I DID just think of the one super-pesky irritant: that Facebook is on there & I can't uninstall it. I am seriously annoyed by FB & hate even having to see it on the phone. It should be an option. I have to ignore the FB app updates. Just a very personal gripe, but I feel like I am being forced to deal with it.)
Pros: tools, menus, Wi-Fi capable, good for texting, games, camera/video quality, speaker, durable, sleek/light design, large screen, battery cover
Cons: battery life, 1st time ease of use

Great Phone, amazing screen!

This was a first smartphone purchase for me and I couldn't be happier. This phone has a screen that is HUGE and is crystal clear. I specifically picked this phone for the screen size as I wanted it for apps and texting/e-mail more than for use as a phone that I would hold to my ear.
I read a lot of complaints about battery life, and I have none. This phone is used all day long for facebook, gaming, text and even television shows and it has never once gotten below 22% battery over a day. Normally we are in the 50% range when I go to charge it at night. It has gone 2 full days without a charge and heavy use.
The amoled screen clarity is nothing short of amazing. I feel like I have have a tiny HDTV in my hands... With the 8MP camera it takes fabulous photos, and although I do wish it had a push button on the side I am gettgin used to the new way I need to take photos. I am also impressed with the video quality and the ease of sharing both photos and videos with friends.
Call clarity isn't great, but still fine. It has frozen on a few applications (less than 10 times) but nothing that seemed like a major fault.
Overall, I am thrilled that I picked this phone. I can't say enough good things about it.
Pros: games, camera/video quality, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting

Best smartphone out there.

I have had the Infuse for about a week now, and it is just truly everything a phone needs. I absolutely love screen real estate. Not only is its screen the 2nd biggest, next to the Dell Streak, but it is also the thinnest 4G device out there. Also, it is extremely light weight. The design is anything you would expect from almost any smartphone; however, the design is all plastic. With that being said, it may feel almost "cheap" to you, but the textured back keeps it from ever feeling that way. The battery life on this can last me all day. I am an EXTREMELY heavy user. 90% of the time I am either making phone calls, texting, surfing the web, playing games, and even just playing with my live wallpaper. If it can do that, just imagine how long it can last on a light user. The display on this is very crisp and clean. Sometimes it can look a bit saturated. I notice it a lot when I watch YouTube on the Infuse after watching it on my iPod Touch 4G. Even though it looks a bit saturated sometimes, I deal with it nicely because of the type of glass the phone uses. It uses "Gorilla Glass" made by Corning. It can not be scratched, even by the sharpest of all knives. The camera is anything but ordinary. It has an 8 megapixel camera with flash. I'll tell you, right after I shot my first picture I returned my old digital camera that I bought last year. The colors just pop and the auto focus is just spot on. The storage on this phone is amazing. 16 gigs inside and a 2 gig micro SD card. It is upgradable to 32 gig SD card. I hope this review helps you make your decision whether or not to buy this phone. It is just the all in one package to everything.
Pros: tools, menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, games, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, durable, screen size, 18 gigs of storage

Most sleek phone around

After a year of careful list making, detailing the pros and cons of my iPhone 3GS, I came to conclusion that I wanted a phone that uses Android. What I found was the Samsung Infuse. This phone is extremely user friendly, I love the look and design, the display is crisp and immaculate. The battery life, as expected is lacking. The battery will need to be charged before I leave work in the afternoon if I've been streaming music or browing the internet too long. I don't mind, the charger isn't big and bulky and you want, you can just take the USB cord and plug it into a PC for charging. I always loved that about the iPhone too.
I have to say that this phone is slippery and will fall out of your hands, especially if you've got small hands. I definitely recommend getting a durable case and a screen protector.
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life

Huge one of a kind smartphone

I think a samsung infuse is a fabulous choice for a smartphone, it's build, and features are state of the art. It has a huge touch screen, displaying huge apps and icons, big enough for even the weakest eyesight can see. The only cons would be that if you aren't good at figuring out where certain settings and whatnot are located on your phone, it will be difficult to do something as simple as turning off the keysound on your dialpad or keyboard.
**ALSO a tip for longer battery life: After charging your phone to 100, make sure you take it OFF the charger, and dont let it sit to long on your charger after it says "unplug". THEN let it die completely, or get very very close to dying before you plug it back in, the first couple times after receiving your phone. If you always plug it in when it gets to about 50 percent, etc, it will get used to being charged once it gets to that point, so your battery life won't be as long as if you wait.
AND make sure your apps are completely closed out of when your finished, holding down the home key for about 2 seconds will start the task manager where you can end your apps when you're finished.
Hope whoever gets this phone enjoys it! :)
Pros: menus, Wi-Fi capable, good for texting, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, durable
