WOW, what a phone!!!!

I've had my Samsung Infuse for about two weeks and I love it. Previous phone was a Windows based program. What a difference! The Infuse is a big phone, but it fits my big hands well. The controls are easy to find and operate. THe front facing camera is the best! Both my wife and I bough the same phones at the same time. We loaded Tango and it is fun doing video calls. You gotta try it!
What I don't like is how short the battery life is. Everyone camplains about ti they are right. I have no applications running in the background, I even tried to use it sparingly for a couple days to see how long I could get it to last. About two days was the most I got. Not a problem really. Just have to pay attention to the charge level.
There are so many features and settings that a person can get lost looking to them all. I wish there was a real operating manual available. AT&T and Samsung don't offer one.
Over all I really love the phone. Once you try it you'll never go back.
Pros: camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life

Great Phone

I'm a systems analyst with 40 years experience. I have had the Infuse for about 8 months and it's by far the best smartphone I ever had. It does a great job with Netflix. As for lockups if you clear out the memory in task manager a couple of time s a week (easy) the phone with never lock up. ALL phones do that. I can access my entire home Windows network using WiFi. I can remote control all my home and work computers, access my work Exchange email. 90% of what I do on a PC I can do with this phone. I have my entire music collection and a dozens movies on my 32gb SD card. My next phone will be a dual core, but this one serves me well now. and I'm in no hurry to replace it. Did I mention it shoots great HD VIDEOS. Teleconferences, Battery lasts all day (24 hours)if let the device control the screen brightness. I can edit word docs and spreadsheets. And finally the MAIN reason to have the phone in the first place I can check up on my grand kids on Facebook. The only Con is the speakerphone. but I have a set of good earbuds.
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting

This is my first Smartphone. I am enjoying it, but I know I have more to learn about my phone. I feel that I am just scratching the surface with what this phone can do. Right now, it's the simple things that I can't figure out. I like the size of the phone, esp. the screen. The ability to increase or decrease the size of the text on screen is a plus. There is so many great apps at my fingertips. Speech to text is great for when I can't take the time to text. I will definitely recommend this phone to my friends.
Pros: tools, menus, camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life

One Word Sums Up The Samsung Infuse... GLORIOUS!

I have to admit, at first the Samsung Infuses 1.2 ghz single core processor and android 2.2 froyo os ON PAPER did not impress me. After seeing all the other great specs (especially the 4.5 Super AMOLED plus screen) and doing a lot of research, I decided to march down to the AT&T store and give the Samsung Infuse a test drive. After playing with the Infuse for about an hour (because I couldn't keep my hands off of it) I realized that the 1.2 ghz processor wasn't to bad at all! Web browsing was a breeze, multi-media was smooth with no choppiness at all. The screen DEFINATELY lived up to the hype. Super AMOLED plus is AWESOME! The colors BURST off the screen and the blacks were the deepest and richest I've ever seen on a smart phone. The camera and video were amazing on it's 8 Mega Pixel camera as well. I also uploaded some sample video to youtube which looked great. The Infuse was very light in my hands although felt very durable as well. Texting on the Infuse was a breeze on it's huge display which I was very happy to see since I have huge hands and the small smart phones just don't cut it. The Infuses features reminded me a lot of the HTC inspire. After testing the Samsung infuse I decided to test the IPhone 4... to say the least, I was not impressed. The Samsung Infuse BLOWS the IPhone out of the water from display to browsing speed. The HTC inspire was comparable as far as speed (although the HTC inspire was a smidgen slower at 1 ghz as expected) and ease of use were concerned, however, display wise it paled in comparison to the Infuse. In my honest opinion, to date, the Samsung Infuse is AT&T's top android phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great phone with reliable and up to par specs.
Thanks for reading, if you've found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up and rate it as such. Thanks again and GO GET YOURSELF AN INFUSE!

Great in most areas

There is no doubt that this is a great phone. I switched over from the iPhone 3G back in May not really knowing a lot about this phone, other than some reviews. And boy was I surprised. The phone looks so big, but being as big as it is, it doesn't actually feel that big. It is incredibly light and fits into your hand almost perfectly.
One of the biggest selling points of this phone for me was the camera. I am not one that likes carrying around tons of stuff in my pockets. Unlike the iPhone, the camera on the Infuse is truly a replacement for an actual camera. There are several features that allow night shots, effects, shutter speed, etc.
The only negatives I have found for this phone is the battery life and the apps available. The phone can make it through a day of heavy use, such as texting, watching movies, listening to music, playing games, but it will last only about 8 hours or so. Its not terrible, just wish it could last longer. Also, Android has most of the usual apps that the iPhone would, but Apple still has the advantage in that area.
All in all, this is a good phone, very good price, and very easy to use. Just take some time to learn a few of the menus and you should have no problem using it
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable, good for texting
Cons: battery life

Great

Awesome display, great features, always discovering something new. Very thin design. While it may feel flimsy it can take a beating. Typical Samsung chrome will eventually wear off. Due to the thin-ness, the phone will get hot if heavily used. 1.2 ghz processor is adequate but competitors already have dual core technology.
Pros: camera/video quality, ease of use, good for texting
