The only thing is that the battery only lasts one day. Which is not that bad i guess because you can plug it in when you get home. Other than that, I love this phone!!
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super display and brightness. Audio, could go a bit louder. No clue if this is a normal bug, or its just me, but it sends blank or partial messages to come contacts.
Pros: Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, durable, bright
Cons: battery life, small keys, freezes, blank outgoing messages to some contacts
I would recommend this to a friend!

Infuse rocks!

Samsung has done it again! This is my very first smartphone, purchased at the end of Oct, 2011.
I love the bigger screen, it's great for eyes that are getting older! Although I have found the phone a bit awkward to use, that is b/c of the bigger size, and I am just not used to it yet. The touch keyboard is a lot bigger too, when the phone is turned to the side to use. I absolutely love the swipe technology, and the speak to txt feature is amazing! You can also use the microphone to type notes, I never thought I would see these phones capable of so much in my lifetime.
The battery power, is somewhat worse than what some the reviews of the Infuse say, have been having to charge the phone about every 6 hours, with light use. However, I did see one review that stated if you don't use autosync, that will help conserve battery power, so I am going to try that over the next couple of days.
I have been a die-hard Samsung cell phone user for years, and they have always kept their phones totally user friendly. That's why I have stuck w/them, as I am in no way a techno-geek! (no offense intended!)
All in all, a truly awesome device!
Pros: tools, menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, camera/video quality, speaker, durable, 4.5" screen, speak to txt feature, apps, swipe, very user friendly
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

From iPhone 4 to Infuse 4G

Kept sitting on the fence as to whether or not I wanted a refurb'd Atrix or Infuse. Read way too many reviews and watched even more too many youtube videos on the pro's and cons of each. In the end, it took a visit to BB to hold and ogle over the Infuse that I made the order. Received the phone on a Monday (and my heart stood still, a doo run run a doo wait! sorry...) so far hadn't had any problems. Loving the screen size change from i4. The apps compared to Apple are IMO "getting there." Sure there are a lot and I have found a few neat ones, I like Speaktoit, sort of like a Siri knock off. I love not being hindered by the smaller screen when viewing websites and have to admit that I missed Flash when using having an iP3 and iP4. The camera takes "vibrant" pictures, almost too sweet for my liking but will one day tweak the thing. Took a few videos during a rainy afternoon with the Infuse and iP4 and they were a toss up. The Infuse colors were again too sweet but liked that the iP4 didn't show much if any of the choppy movement that the Infuse did. Overall I'm impressed with the change up and have no compelling reason to go back to Apple.
Hadn't had any battery drain problems, yes it requires my juice time than the iPhone but that isn't the end of the world. Or is it? Duh duh duhhhh...
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting

Decent for light use, but has its drawbacks

I've had this phone since October when I switched from the iPhone and I must say, I'm not all that impressed. I bought it for the bigger screen as I used my iPhone for EVERYTHING so the bigger screen size would be great.
As far as that goes, its fine. If I'd known about the Galaxy Note, I'd have bought that.
My gripes come from the design itself. I just don't understand why Samsung made the screen so large and didn't make it slightly thicker to accomodate a larger battery. Instead it's battery is the same as what would go into a phone the size of an iPhone. It just doesn't translate. A couple of millimeters thicker and they could have fit a 3000 or 3500 battery into it. It's already huge, I don't understand why they had to make it so darn thin.
That being said, you may have guessed that the battery life fails. I've done everything I can think of to get it to last longer. I don't keep most of the services on, I have an app killer, have the screen set to auto brightness and to lock after 30 seconds of non-use, etc. I unplug it in the morning when I leave for school around 8 and if I dont use it a lot throughout the day and don't charge it (which defeats the purpose of having a"use for everything" device) I can get home about 7PM and have about 20% on the battery. If I actually use it throughout the day and don't charge it, I am lucky to get home with 5%. I've taken to just keeping a charger with me wherever I go and plugging it in (which again, defeats the purpose of a "mobile" device).
Aside from that, AT&T refuses to give an update for it. As a result, the OS is glitchy and slow, especially when running newer apps.
I feel that the idea behind the phone- larger screen, higher quality camera, etc- was a good one. It was just executed poorly by Samsung and exacerbated by the limits AT&T puts on it.
Don't get me wrong, AT&T is pretty good most of the time and the internet speeds are consistently fast. its not a BAD phone, it's just not a very good one. The hardware is decent. The speakers play a decent quality sound and the screen is crisp. It's easy to learn and use and the bigger screen is great for texting and surfing the web (though I do wish Android would come out with something like Reader on iOS for the browser). It's WiFi capable. It's not horrible, it just defeats the purpose of having a smartphone since I'm almost afraid to use it because I know it'll die.
Pros: tools, menus, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life, operating system, software bugs, freezes, slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
