Better than the IPhone

Im a phone geek i go thru alot of phones from Htc Evo, Droid X, IPhone 4, Nexus S, Motorola Photon, Htc Sensation and many more. The last phone i was using was an Iphone 4 and i loved it until i saw someone with the Infuse. The screen quality camera and ui sold me to get the phone. The phone comes with 2.2 but im rooted and running 2.3 infused rom. I have no cons with this phone i believe its the best phone out right now
Pros: tools, menus, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting

I have to mention that I was very hesitant between this Samsung Infuse and the iPhone 4, especially with all the reviews on the Infuse battery life.
But let me tell you this: you are making a big mistake if you choose NOT to get this WONDERFUL phone. Here is why:
1. The battery life is GREAT. I unplug my phone upon waking up at 6 am. When I get home at 8 pm., believe it or not, the battery is usually more than 1/3 full. I wouldn't say I'm the heaviest user, but I check my mail every 30 minutes, make some calls, as well as some social networking and some video streaming throughout the day. All you need to do to preserve battery life is have an "app killer". The main reason Droids drain battery life is because there are "MANY" applications running simultaneously in the background when you are actually not using the phone. Also, a good tip would be to turn off your Wi-Fi and GPS when you're not using them. Plus, games just wear off power, so take it easy on "angry Birds"!!! Trust me, if you do that, this phone is AS GOOD AS IT GETS. So don't worry about battery life on this phone, the battery will stand the WHOLE day. It just won't go more than that. Don't be greedy. It's a trade off for all those features you get in return
2. The Amold screen is AMAZING!!! Bright colors..Super size... It's like holding a mini iPad. Definitely an iphone beater on this feature. And the video streaming is SUPERB in HD. Frankly speaking, I stopped carrying my netbook/iPad.
3. Some reviewers commented the volume was not so good. It isn't dolby stereo, but it's loud enough for me, especially with the earpieces when listening to music during a work out.
4. Another thing I stopped carrying around with me was my digital camera. The phone's 8 MegaPixel camera will be more than enough for you to get some very neat photos and video shots. The front camera is a bliss when making video calls.
5. I am quite big with big fingers which makes texting on such phones quite troublesome, but with the screen size I mentioned before and the SWIPE keyboard, (which is an ASTONISHING feature), my texting speed on this phone is twice as fast as on the iPhone.
6. A 16GB memory expandable with a micro SD card to 32GB.. What more can you ask for at such a price.

The only con is that this phone is BIG... Personally, I don't mind cause I am a big guy myself. So if you are small, beware... your hands might get stretched. Not that much though, cause the slimness of the phone compensates for its width, and you can still accomodate it in the palm of your hand, yet not as comfortably as an iPhone.
In summary, this phone is the best I have ever had. It definitely beats the iPhone in my humble opinion... and I am glad I got it. There are still more features that need to be explored that I might not have commented upon, but the urge and temptation to give this phone its rightful rating compelled me to write this review only 2 weeks after its purchase.

i love my phone!!!!! it's easy to use even my little ones (5 & 3 yrs old) can use it!!!the only thing is my battery dies quick and takes a while to charge but other than that i love it..
Pros: camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life, freezes

I purchased this phone this past Sunday. I absolutely LOVE IT. I went in to purchase the iPhone4s, however, I wasn't thrilled with Siri, so I asked what else do you have that is comparable, and the staff introduced me to the Android. My boyfriend and I both purchased these phones after looking at the infuse.

Started to get I phone soo glad I didnt love this phone have 3 off them on my plan very easy to use if you use a computer at all big screen easy to type for big hands.
Battery last for ever it seems,I had trouble at 1st
because I didnt understand how the phone works once I learned to turn off battery burning programs (wifi and locators) when not on them.
If I had it to do over I would buy the same phone
again I think most of the problems I read about are user error because I was able to experience the problem read the book and solve the problem
with out calling anyone just asked a few friends with smart phones they knew the answers

With touch screen PDA mobile, I've started out with a Samsung Eternity --> LG Vu --> iPhone 3GS --> iPhone 4 --> Samsung Infuse. I've been on the iPhone band wagon for a while & needed to jump off that band wagon for something more suited for me instead of the trend.
When I had this for only a few days I already new I made the right choice. I love this phone! The colors are vivid and the 4.5 screen helps a bunch for my 4 eyes. It's thin, sleek, & light. I have small slim hands I have no problem with it in one hand for texting, making calls & etc.
With the battery life learn how to use it like your computer. Whatever program is still running in the background it is going to drain your battery. Once you're done with that app or apps go into your task manager and end them! Duh!
Also when your battery said it is fully charge do unplug it. Overcharging a battery frequently will shorten the life of your battery down the road.

Who needs an iPhone??

There are so many ways to personalize this phone! I was really anticipating my upgrade so I could get the iPhone 4 until someone showed me this phone! I was instantly sold on this product with the flash on the AWESOME camera and the customization of the screens! Not to mention that I don't have to hook my phone to iTunes to get music and/or ringtones!! I also like the automatic reject list too!! I like the fact that I can change my font!! The display is amazing. The volume could be louder and I wish I could send videos but other than that this phone definitely gets an A+++!!
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, best phone i have owned!!
Cons: battery life, volume level, cant send video, too sensitive to touch
