Had it 6 months and nothing but good to say about the Infuse! Had an iphone4 before this and was intrigued by size of screen and android os, have been extremely pleased with both! Android was so easy to learn and use, and so was the Infuse. Absolutely love the Swype keyboard! Can't imagine going back :)
Pros: menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, games, camera/video quality, speaker, beautiful screen resolution
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for both business and personal use!

I use my Infuse for both business and personal, and it suits both needs perfectly. I am a freelance writer, so I can't create entire documents on the phone (which I never expected to do), but it's great for light editing, reading documents, networking, and finding new clients on the go. The app store has all the websites that I use on my computers, so the Infuse is a much-needed extension to the websites. And texting/emailing is simple and user-friendly. The phone lets you choose between three different types of input styles (Swype, Android, and Samsung), so you can choose which style fits your finger size.
I did have to send my original Infuse back, though, because it had problems turning off 5-6 times a day, even on the charger. However, my new one arrived a few days ago, and I haven't had a single problem since. Apparently there was a bug in the hardware. But, like I said, my new one is perfect.
I love that this phone is extremely customizable, and the size of the screen is perfect. My iPhone-using friends are all jealous about the size and picture quality of my phone, especially since it cost significantly less than their phone did.
The battery life is typical of a smartphone. I was used to charging my old phone every night anyways, so having to do the same with the Infuse is no different. While I do network, I am careful not to keep apps open if I'm not using them (since it's such a horrible waste of battery). Do that, and your battery should last nearly 20 hours.
The phone takes great pictures and videos, the interface is completely user-friendly, and the screen/hardware is responsive.
The Infuse is my first smartphone, and it's great. However, I'm young and computer-savvy, so it's not so simple as to be completely boring. I love everything about the Infuse! It's a great phone!
Pros: tools, menus, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting

good until frozen

Don't get me wrong, I love my phone. But it freezes a few times a day, and can take 10 to 20 minutes to get it running again. Other than that it is an awesome phone. But freezing get annoying, fast.
Pros: menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, good for texting
Cons: battery life, freezes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than my iPhone

I have had this phone since the first weekend of it's availability. My iPhone 3G had become so slow it was worthless. foe build quality, you can't beat an iPhone. But for performance, this phone is far superior. For ease of use, it's a bit large to use with one hand. But it is thin, light, and has absolutely the best screen on the market. If you use a smart phone as a smart phone, and not just a phone, this is a great choice. If you have the money to waste, get the Galaxy sII skyrocket. But on anything but 4G, this phone's performance is just about the same. I have a 38 minute train ride twice a day, and this phone is a GREAT commute companion. Battery life is not great. But as long as you let the phone FULLY discharge, and FULLY charge, now and then, it is fine. Don't believe the misinformation that you can partially charge lithium batteries, and it won't hurt them... It will. btw... The camera is fantastic for a phone.
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life

I really like the design of the hardware the phone is thin and light but still feels well built.
The camera shoots great pictures even in low light for a camera phone it is at the top of the heap.
Android runs great on this phone and a bit better then it did on my HTC inspire.
the screen is hands down one of the best I have seen, I have owned the iPhone 3g the iPhone 4 the HTC inspire over the past few years ill take this screen over each of them.
Pros: camera/video quality, speaker, battery life
Cons: would like new version of android

I upgraded to the Samsung Infuse from the Apple iPhone 3GS, and couldn’t be happier. The phone is powerful, lightweight, and has surprisingly good battery life – much better than my iPhone. You wont be disappointed with this phone.
Pros: menus, games, camera/video quality, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, good for texting
