Another plus for Brother

This is my third Brother printer. I have 2 other Brother all-in-one machines that I have had for several years. This time, when I wanted a color wireless model, I first purchased another brand because it was less expensive and claimed to do what i wanted. However, after 3 weeks of using it I had had it with the noise and slow response to printing. Also with the very slow fax speed. So I returned it and purchased this machine. I am very happy with it - except that I cannot get the PC Fax to work - I have just printed out the software manual to see what I am doing wrong, and if I can't figure it out I will call customer support. But the machine prints quickly, scans quickly, does stand-alone faxes quickly, etc. I have decided that in the future I will only look at Brother machines.

replaced a printer with similar features, but not a laser printer. The Brother is soooo much faster, holds lots more paper (easier to fill paper holder too) Use for home and small business and love it.

Does everything well

This laser printer is fast in color or B&W. The fax and scan functions work seamlessly with my PC.
The duplex feature also saves a lot of paper. This machine the best of any of the several Brother printers I have owned. However, the color toner goes fast if one is not selective about when to print in color.

Works well. Support is good.
Disappointing that upgrades are not recommended wirelessly, since mine is set up wirelessly.

Very Pleased So Far

The printer seems like a very durable printer construction-wise. It reminds me of the original laser HP printers that were very solid and workhorses that never died. The print quality is very clear and it fires up very quickly and prints faster than our old Brother printer which was only a few years old but started having issues over the past year not receiving and printing faxes when we got them from customers or sales reps. So far, very pleased!

Best MFC Printer!!!

I Purchased this Brother MFC 9460CDN as an Upgrade from previously using an Epson Inject All in one. I absolutely love this Brother Printer. We use it for both Personal and Business use, it is fast, and the quality is great. It has saved us tons of $$$ due to no longer needing to go to a copy and print facility to get mass amounts of color copies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems with printing on card stock

We purchased this color laser all in one for our small business. Mainly to print our menu's on card stock. The first batch we printed worked fine and ever since we get "out of paper" after each menu prints. There is paper in the paper tray it just seems to jam. We have the setting on "thick paper" because there isn't a card stock setting on this printer. I've not been able to print in duplex mode.
When the printer prints it is great quality and on normal paper we don't have issues. But it sure makes it hard to keep menus in our poboy shop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
