Great machine

Looked at the rating and the other sources and had not thought about brother as a printing company. Really like the printer, like the low cost of ownership as the toner and other parts are very reasonable to purchase. if there was 1 complaint when it says low on toner it does not tell you which one......have to figure it out thru software....wish it printed a report that told you how much toner you have in each and how much you used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT PRINTER!

I had my eye on the MFC-9460CDN before it was available strictly from the info I found on the internet. When I was looking to replace my monochrome Brother MFC 7820N laser I decided to get a color laser and the MFC-9460CDN kept popping up in my searches and looked better and better. I've had it since it's release in October 2010 and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to set up on my Mac and PC network and the output and features are spectacular. Get one!

Great All-In-One

This is a great machine. Great features that work really well - wireless networking, two-sided printing, scanning to various output formats and sent wirelessly back to the PC/Mac. This is an excellent MFP at a very good price.
There are two areas where this printer could be improved. First, the paper output area is under the scanner/ADF and it's a bit of a challenge to get letter size paper out due to the design. Second, the printed paper has a slight curl to it coming out of the printer. This could be a paper quality issue, but I didn't have this issue with my other laser printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ease of use to fax from PC and scan to PC. Print quality is excellent and the large paper tray allows for large printing projects.

Finally - one printer that does it all!

I've had the printer for about a month now. It is great! I had been waiting along time for a mfc color laser that did fast full duplex printing. This does that and more. The print quality is very good with bright colors, the fax was extremely easy to set up, and the s/w installed on my Windows 7 laptop with no hitches at all. I have it wired to my wireless router, so haven't tried the printer's wireless feature, but I can print wirelessly from my laptop with no problems at all. Even though the printer has an excellent low power mode, I usually leave the printer turned off since I only use it on occasion. Last week, I printed something from my laptop and went in to the other room to turn on the printer and it had already printed the page! It woke up, printed it, and turned itself off again - nice! I'm very pleased with this printer for alot of reasons. Great job, Brother!

Great Printer

I did a lot of research before I purchaced this printer, and I am very happy with it. I have had the printer for about a month. Installed the printer in 30 minutes or less. I really like this printer. I have 2 small businesses and the printer/fax is a dream.
I do a lot of faxing and scanning. Print quality is great for general office needs. Fast, efficient....love the duplex. If I had only one complaint it would be to change the slot for the print output to make it easier to grab papers...but this is minor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOOOOOVE this machine

It took me longer to unpack this machine (and it was carefully packed) than to set it up. I have a wireless network and it was uncannily easy to set up on the network and on the PCs. It worked great from day one. Print quality and speed is great, scanning is excellent as well, the doc feeder works great. Could not ask for more. The only negative is that the printed matter is in a bit of a cubbyhole and for someone like me with dry skin its hard to get a grip on the papers. But that is very minor...I'd give this puppy a 99% grade out of 100%. Brother, you have a new lifelong customer...no wonder my friends raved about you!

I am satisfied with this purchase. This machine has great features and capabilities for the cost. One of the issues that should be addressed is the lack of stability for access doors, they are flimsy. The noise that is produced is loud. The spool up time and efficiency is great!
Overall, it is met my expectations, but I believe some of the hardware could be redesigned.
I would recommend this to a friend!
