good but with an issue

everything works except the start button needs to be held down for 5-10 seconds, and then pushed again for the machine to start.. The best feature is the fruit/nut dispenser (so you don't have to wait around to introduce add-ins). I like the 3-size option, and the machine is very good-looking. The instruction manual is not quite as comprehensive as in previous models, but it is....okay.

GF bread - not sure what I'm doing wrong

Bought this for fresh GF bread but I've had 3 failures and have done some troubleshooting. Wondering if I should try a cycle other than the GF cycle.

I have had HB toasters, blenders, coffee makers -- the list goes on and on -- and have never had a mechanical problem with any HB product. So when our dear friends gave us the 29882 s.n B1622CE for our 25th wedding anniversary gift 2 days ago, I was truly thrilled. Fresh, yummy homemade bread in a reliable bread machine. What a great gift!
