I have used bread makers for several years. I bought my 1st Hamilton Beach unit in 2014 and only now it is starting to fail. I debated getting replacement parts then found the receipt and saw it is 11 years old! So I decided to purchase another one. The other brands I purchased barely made it past the warranty expiry then completely died. I use the machine every week and love the flavour this one makes.
I have washed and dried the parts, replaced the bread pan and paddle, and am trying to bake for 10 minutes empty as the instructions say to do. I don't think it's working. Also, it has all these numbered options, but I don't know how to get to them. Confusing!
I have been contemplating buying a bread maker for quite a while, but I felt intimidated for the ones I saw in the market (they seem to be complicated to operate). All my kitchen appliances are Hamilton Beach so after much thought, I decided to give a Hamilton Beach bread maker a try. Boy I'm I glad I did! My first loaf o bread came out moist, nice crust and delicious! I used the recipe for Basic Bread on the instructions booklet that came with the machine. I am ready to try other recipes. No more store bought bread for me! :)
