Elegant & functional!

It has an option to keep your toasted food warm so you don't have to rush and try to time your toast to be ready right when the rest of your meal is! It has a convenient dial to make sure your toast is toasted to your perfection. Plus, it has an extra wide opening for bigger breads.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had paid for this toaster I would return it to the store. The good points are that it looks nice on the counter and takes up little space. There are many cons. First is that the shade selector must be turned up to #5 (out of 6) before the bread starts to toast. It will keep the toast warm for up to three minutes but the toast is very hard and breaks easily when applying butter or jelly. It is nice that the slots are wider but they could be a little bit longer just in case the slice of bread is a bit longer. The crumb tray is too shallow and crumbs tend to bounce off. All in all, I could not recommend that anyone buy this particular model of toaster. With that being said I would like to add that I have many other small Hamilton Beach products and love them. This is truly the first one I have been disappointed with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is no ordinary toaster !!

I'm excited with all the features, it only toasts the cut side of a bagel yet the other side is soft and warm. If needed there's the keep warm feature, no more cold toast. The defrost feature amazed me, I don't have to toast it twice, just to get the center thawed, burning the outside. The wide slots will be perfect for homemade toast now cooler weather is coming. Love this toaster !!

And just to make it better, it'll keep those warm until you're ready for them. The design is absolutely gorgeous. It sits on my kitchen counter looking very nice. I wish I had owned one of these years ago.

Perfect for all Your Toasting Needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my toaster and immediately put it to the test. A few days a month, my family likes breakfast for dinner. Wow, I very impressed at how multifunctioning this little gem was. This toaster worked great not just for toast but also for bagels. The whole bagel fit and toasted perfectly. The 4 slots in this toaster was a bonus. I was able to make perfect toast and perfect bagels all at one time. This toaster has a sturdy spring load; not like other toasters I've owned. My husband especially liked that the toaster dings when his toast is ready. The toaster fits in perfectly with my stainless steel appliances which is very nice too. Hamilton Beach never ceases to amaze me with their innovative approach to their small appliances.

Love the wide slots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slots are wide and long enough to accommodate my bread without having to squish it in. Love the alarm feature at the beginning and end of the cycle. The keep warm feature is okay. The toast did seem a tad dried out but it was still very good!
