Looks great!

I'm very happy with my new GE refrigerator. I especially like the door alarm: if the door does not fully close, a signal sounds, and a message appears on the screen. However, after having a GE side-by-side refrigerator, I am still in the process of adjusting to the different configuration of space.

This fridge fits a ton of food and it's all easy to find. We love the water and ice dispenser and door alarm. It makes a rattling noise intermittently when it's making ice or turning on but overall has been great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loud motor

Since the beginning of our purchase, our motor has been loud. We thought originally that it'd quiet down in time. It's level, seems to cut on frequently. We're going to contact the warranty info and see if a repairman can fix it. If not, we want a replacement. It keeps food cold in the upper section and freezer. We're also not pleased with the water dispenser. It splatters a lot when we fill a container or glass. Shows a lot of smudges. Understand there's a newer GE product that is more smudge proof.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month ago and have not been disappointed. Plenty of interior room for a counter-depth refrigerator. Well designed and thought out and a beautiful addition to the kitchen. Quiet, too!

Great style, features and design!

Purchased two months ago and love it. Looks and feels like a very expensive fridge. Stainless is much heavier looking than a less expensive model. The counter depth 23.5 CF gives you a little more floor space, but you do lose some of the fridge space you may be accustomed to, with a 25 CF unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We needed a counter depth refrigerator due to the layout of our kitchen. The features and quality of this refrigerator made it a great buy. We really enjoy the precise fill and hot water features. The flexibility of the adjustable shelves and the bright interior lighting is essential.

Everything you could want in a fridge

After ALOT of research looking for the best counter depth refrigerator available we finally decided on the GE Cafe and we have not been disappointed. What I really like about this refrigerator:
* Looks great
* Works great
* Lots of room for a counter depth refrigerator
* The LED lighting is really slick, especially the lower drawer where the color of the lighting is based on the selection
* Ice cream does not get frozen
* The water and ice dispenser really works well
* I don't use the hot water feature often but when I do I'm glad it's there
* For me the refrigerator has been quite. I would recommend having space behind the refrigerator for air circulation.
* Vegetables stay fresh for a long time
* I haven't had any odors
* The sound when the doors have been open too long is nice
* It is built in the USA
* The LCD for the water and ice dispenser is pretty cool as well.
