Nice features, quiet, love the shine.

We've had this refrigerator for 3 months. Runs great, looks great. The only thing I really don't like is the small ice maker. If you have more than 3-4 people to serve, better head to the store for a bag. It is slow to make more ice. Other than that, it's very nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We just installed our new refrigerator a few days ago. I haven't noticed any noise issues at all. It seems very quiet, but ours is installed in a wall of cabinets/pantry. I'm guessing that's why we haven't noticed any noise. I love the french doors and the hot water feature. Note that this fridge may be a bit on the deeper side of "counter depth" refrigerators. The doors are still pretty thick, so they stand out from a wall of cabinets. It still looks great though.

Unbelievably poor quality from GE

Unit delivered Nov '14. Have gone through 8 doors and 3 attempts to replace with new units. All have cosmetic or functional defects. Still not resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Happy with the ice maker. Bad Design?

Ice solidifys at the top of ice maker. Have to pull ball of cubes out for ice maker to start. Had GE service out to check. He couldn't find problem?

Great fridge!

We love the hot water feature so we don't have to heat a tea pot. But after just a few months the "hot water" letttering has begun to rub off. Disappointing. Other than that we love the features.

All the Features that We Wanted

We have had this refrigerator for almost a year and it works great. My wife wanted a refrigerator with a bottom freezer and really likes this one. I especially like the bright lighting, the cold water and ice dispenser, and the storage arrangement in the refrigerator area. We had a seven year old GE side by side which we moved to the garage to replace a 25+ year old GE side by side that stopped cooling.

We've had the refrigerator for close to one year. Perfect size for our family of three with enough room for occasional entertaining. Love the hot water feature for a cup of tea. Freezer and frig compartments work well for organizing everything. Small complaints - the vegetable compartment is a bit small, also getting ice from the door oftentimes involves picking several ice chips off the floor.

Great Replacement

We bought this refrigerator to replace an 18 year old GE that finally gave out. This is a great refrigerator and it is easy to find anything on the shelves. I love the inside lighting. The shelves inside the freezer compartment make it easy to locate items. The digital temperature control is very convenient. The only issue I have is a minor problem with the freezer shelves which would be better if they pulled out further to access food items. The unit is very quiet and makes a great addition to our home.
