Do not buy this refrigerator

If you view the Q&A below you will see that most owners struggle with the loud noise this fridge puts out when the compressor kicks in. They aren't kidding. It will wake you up at night, it's ridiculous! Every time it happens, my husband and I groan. We paid money for this? Really? And when people talk about the packers plastic being stuck in the side, yes, that's true as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator has not worked right since I bought it. It is very loud and not at all worth the money.

It's so nice to have an energy-efficient counter-depth refrigerator/freezer from GE! GE makes the best refrigerators! The price is worth not having to continually replace the appliance. We purchased another to upgrade rather than replace.

Just renovated our kitchen and replaced our old GE Profile appliances with new GE Cafe appliances. Could not be more pleased with the look and performance of our new appliances!

An Ode to Food care!

Wow, this "smart refrigerator" creates a whole experience in just opening the door: almost a Broadway show, colored lights, sweet beeps and the ability to upload your own photos.... It makes you feel good about your food storage it's so well designed... Never mind the hot water and plentiful ice...I'm in love with an appliance :). Thank you GE...it's great to see American ingenuity manufactured right here at home. Can't wait for my dishwasher to go next....

Both the fridge and the freezer sections are well organized. I like the ice dispenser in the door. Vegetables stay fresh longer.

Beautiful fridge

Looks great, works great. Only issue we've encountered in 3 months is that the ice maker clogs up when u switch from crushed to cubed ice. Then u have to clear out the ice with a hammer and it will work again in a couple hours. I can live with that for all its lovely features and great cooling!
