Roomy but noisy

This refrigerator has a lot more room inside than it looks. One drawback is that it is extremely noisy. That noise is the reason for the 3 star rating. If something could be done to make it quieter, I would rate it a 5.

I was concerned the space would not be adequate in comparison to my previous refrigerator, but the design definitely makes up for the loss of cubic feet.

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS REFRIGERATOR FROM THE DISPENSER IN THE DOOR TO THE LAYOUT IN THE TOP SECTION AND THE BINS IN THE FREEZER. SO EASY TO ORGANIZE EVERYTHING!

Very noisy!

We bought this model in September 2013. Within a few months the fridge started getting noisier and noisier. Food in the main part of the refrigerator started freezing. Long story short, 3 service calls and repairs to fan, electronics,etc GE couldn't fix the problem so we are given a new refrigerator ( same model). While I love the style of this appliance and the features this new fridge is super noisy! We've been told by repair men that this model is " famous" for being loud....wish we had known that before we purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too many service calls in 8 months

I bought this refrigerator in October and had to wait one month for delivery. When it arrived a piece on the door was found broken and the door had to be replaced. In May, the refrigerator began making a strange, very loud noise which turned out to be the fan. Ice had accumulated on the refrigerator fan causing the it to stop cooling. All food was lost and part took a week to arrive. Two months later all food in the refrigerator portion found frozen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great size for countertop

Awesome features and good capacity for a counter-top. Customizeable treys and shelving. Only downside is having to manage the fingerprints on the stainless steel.

The color of the stainless steel does not match the other appliances in the Cafe series. That was a big disappointment
