We bought all new GE Cafe applicances for our brand new house. The friges hasn't worked correctly since day 1. Neither fridge or freezer hold their temp - espcially an issue with the freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Investing in new appliances is never easy. Lots of things to look out for. I like this fridge, but I'm not thrilled with the fact that the doors do not open all the way like other French Door Refrigerator models.

WE PURCHASED THIS GREAT PRODUCT ALONG WITH ALL MATCHING APPLIANCES. VERY PLEASE ESPECIALLY WITH WATER AND ICE FEATURE, NO MORE WATER DISPENSER AND ALWAYS ICE COLD BEVERAGE READY IN MOMENTS.

Nice LED lights but poor engineering

I ordered this product along with the GE Cafe dishwasher and the GE Cafe dual-fuel range. When the fridge arrived I was not able to get all of the plastic protective wrap off with out pulling the seal away and using a carpenters knife. I then noticed the decorative stainless steal strip on the lower drawer in the fridge was coming off. Also, when trying to move the freezer drawer divider it went "cockeyed" and then jammed. It then required two hands and force to get it to move. GE was kind enough to replace the fridge drawer and the divider. The freezer divider never did work properly even after a second attempt .I did love the LED lights on this model. GE did replace the entire fridge with another GE Cafe model but it arrived with a scratch on the door and it does not have LED lights. This was my first purchase of a GE product and now my last. I can only hope when the dishwasher and range are installed that they work as engineered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought this 3 months ago. Already having issues. We received product with loud noise and had the whole fridge replaced, then the tray of the sliding drawer had a damage that too was replaced. The Third thing that just got fixed today is the squeaking door and they replaced a part. Now one of the buttons paint is coming off. This thing is brand new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
