Bought this refrigerator in December of 2016 and for the 2nd time, NO ICE !!
It seems that the ice maker is very temperamental and doesn't work very well.

Oh no! Joe830, if the flow of water from the dispenser has been slower during the past several weeks, it may be time to change your water filter. An average family of 4 may typically need to replace the water filter every 4-6 months based on water and ice usage. States like Illinois, have hard or very hard water and therefore the filter may need changing more often. Freezing fans

I had to have several service visits during the first ear that I owned this refrigerator due to poor temperature control. After the waranty was up, the fan started sqeaking. My dealer told me that it sounds like the fan is freezing. Frigidaire refused to take care of it. Not covering a parts issue I can understand. This seems to be a design problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this three months ago. looks and works great. Ice maker is an issue. You have to make sure ice is nocked down in tray before you fully open the drawer or ice falls behind drawer and melts. Definitely a design flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our “extra storage 2nd refrigerator” conked-out, I replaced it with our (kitchen) Frigidaire and purchased the SAME fridge for our kitchen. I had to wait for it awhile from the big box store, as I do not believe that the ones without ice/water dispenser on the exterior door are as popular.

Wonderful refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought at end November 2017. Works perfectly, especially the consistent temperature and internal icemaker. It is located close to our kitchen table and is VERY QUIET even when the compressor runs. Lots of room in refrigerator and freezer, eliminating the need for an extra freezer. Convenient, can see everything in the both sections without having to move stuff around. Highly recommend! We are three adults, and cook almost every day.
