Decent fridge for the money

My first new fridge in about ten years and I'm enjoying it. I'm still not quite sold on the french door fridges these days but seems that's all you get in the market. The interior lights are bright, shelves are easy to re-position if needed and the doors can hold plenty.
My biggest criteria was that the bottom freezer door opens up ALL the way open and this unit accomplishes that easily. I'd love it if we had a choice of purchasing a narrower ice tray as I'm not a ice in my drink person and would rather use more drawer storage space.
Observation: the condenser fan is constantly running so if this bothers you, this is not your fridge. The noise level is acceptable but I'd prefer to be quieter. My previous unit would start/stop but this unit is always making a sound. So, do your due diligence prior to purchasing.
Secondly, if I close the left door first, it'll make a THUD sound as there doesn't seem to be any type of cushioning. If you close the right door first then the left door, this isn't an issue. I performed the same action at the store with a brand new fridge, same deal. Kind of odd I thought but oh well.
This is a handsome fridge and looks good in a kitchen with other SS appliances. The interior features of this fridge is common with all the other fridges in the market, in this price range. Let's face it folks, you can only make shelves and drawers inside a given volume in so many ways!! I do like the smooth action of the vegetable drawers vs other units.

we bought this 3 years ago and have had it worked on numerous times. the ice maker barely makes any ice and the temps barely keep the food edible. we bought the extended warranty and that has been a pain. they wont replace the fridge and no one in our area works on these issues. ALOT of money wasted. Need a new fridge but tired of paying thousands of dollars for junk!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delivered in Dec makes a horrible noise had service people out twice replaced ice maker and valve ! Did not help I'm stuck with the noise wish I could have heard it run before we purchased:(

Great Lighting and Features!

I bought this Frigidaire about a month ago, and I'm very pleased with it. When I open the doors the lighting is gorgeous, and both doors open I have plenty of room to find what I need. The freezer section is also great. It makes beautiful ice that is just the right size for my glass. I highly recommend this Frigidaire to everyone!
