[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FINALLY,,,a "Microwave that is MORE than a Microwave! How we lived without this incredible product until now is just CRAZY!!
I never thought that I'd be able to use my Microwave, as a REAL oven,,,, saving my kitchen, from having to be heated up for something so simple as, the need to heat up a slice of left over pizza. I use it every morning to steam my milk for my Latte, and the hubby uses it for his Old Fashioned Oatmeal.
Cookies? YUP!
Roast? YUP!
Bacon? YUP
You name it, if it needs to be baked in a regular oven, it works in the Advantium! If you need it heated up like a conventional Microwave, it does everything that you need it to do as well!
This also has a VERY powerful vent/fan that helps to alleviate extra heat in the kitchen when cooking at the same time underneath the microwave. I absolutely ADORE the Advantium oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave does everything for you! The menus are very easy to understand with a excellent cookbook. It really has the best of heat and microwave when reheating food that does not come out mushy or wet. You can make meals very quickly with excellent results! Looking forward to the web site with additional recipes. One minor thing.. the control knob looks rather cheap. That could have been nicer.

Website misrepresentation

The photos of this product on the GE website misrepresent the product. There is an unsightly black piece that hangs below the body of the stainless steel unit which houses the light. It looks especially ugly if you have a light colored backsplash. The photos on the website do not show this. GE customer service indicated the the photo was probably of a prototype and did not represent the actual product. Go look at it in a showroom before you buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for a couple of days. It is very nice looking. I love the lighting. It is programmable. I have used it to bake cookies. Unbelievable!! I have reheated leftovers. Perfect! I have defrosted meat. It works like a dream! I love this thing. It is truly remarkable how far we have come from the old style microwave. I cannot wait to get my dual fuel cafe' freestanding stove into place. I love to cook and these products are going to make it so much more fun!

Control Pannel Shorts when range is used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the oven except that when the power boil is being used on the front right burner the microwave control panel shorts and starts executing commands such as cook. This happens less frequently if you put the boost exhaust on prior to using the front right burner but reduces the overall usability of the ensemble.
