This case is excellent. The only concern I have are the covers for the headphone and battery charger ports. The case is designed to require the owner to constantly bend the covers to open them for access to the ports, so over time, since the material is made out of rubber, I believe it will crack and break. But, here's to holding out hope that it outlasts the phone and if so, then this case deserves 5 stars in all categories.

I bought an Armor Series case a few months ago and although I think it is very secure, it seems to be too tight. People kept telling they couldn't hear me, it sounded like I was very very far away. I eventually had to stop using it. I bought a Defender series and now it's ok.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: too tight

very good construction and easy to use. The only problems:
1.no more finger print reading, so you have to use a password to access the phone.
2. Watch what charging cords you buy.....on some the plug is too wide to fit in the access point.

Good with the exceptions that 1. non slip surface on only one side and
2. slightly muffled when talking with others.
So the trade off is is sound for waterproof. Next time I won't wash my phone in the washer then I won't need a waterproof case.

As far as protection the case in my opinion is awesome. I also purchased the carrying case to put on my belt to carry the phone. The magnets don't hold the case closed at all. I think OtterBox needs to revisit the carrying case design again. But if you are the carry your phone in your pocket, the armor series case is great.

I purchased the Armor due to my profession. I work in the construction field and needed something durable and still allowed me to use my phone as if it had no case. I used to have the defender and it worked well but not against dust intrusion, and of course dropping it in water there was no guarantees. Using the touch screen there was no issues, having phone conversations was like not having a case at all. Sound was clear and I could be heard on the other end with no issues. The only negative is the holder,its not a clip on but a box with a belt clip I look forward to a new design on this part.

everything about this case is great; I love the water proof features, not matter how i drop this thing nothing happens. but the one thing i have to do differently with this one than any other case is speak louder. no more quite convos, everything you talk about using this case will be heard. trust me.
