Great case

It would be 5 stars if I could hear the people I'm on the phone with talking, I had the volume maxed out just to barely make out what they are saying. Didn't seem like the case was sealed and I p wasn't gonna test it. The front screen isn't touching the phone directly so the feature of the phone to drag the notification bar down is out of the picture. I told otterbox about it, got a new case and it's all the same. Great case and it definitely looks like it could hold up 2 ton or close to it, I'm in the fire/ems jobs and in the field I need to be able to rely on my case to do what I need to get done and protect my phone but with these issues it's preventing me from doing so, with all that said it gets 3 stars!

I like the strength of my case, and the lanyard that i put a clip on that clips to me. No moe lost phones for me! My issue is I have my ear phones plugged in 90% of the time. This lets dust and debris inside the case. I would not want to test if it would keep water out with my ear phones plugged in.

My only complaint is that when the case is new it's a little hard to use the silent button that's on the side of the phone. You have to push it a lot harder and at first it would take a couple tries. But overall this case is fantastic, it protects phone great & if it starts to break and you have your year warranty they replace it with no problem! I got a new one a month before my warranty ran out. I would definitely recommend this case! Although, if you are a girl and wear make up don't get the color white.

I would like to see more rubber around the edges for your hand to grip. I drop it more than the Defenders I have had. The protection is awesome (Although I havent tested it in water) but the back cover needs to be constructed heavier so it does not warp when pulled in with the latches. Also want more color on it to find it when lost. Too gray overall. Overall i would buy it again.

Hands down best phone case I could have ever even imagined! LOVE IT! I'm a chick and I never wanted anything too bulky, however when I purchased an unlocked iPhone5 and I needed a durable case for my upcoming adventures I figured heck, why not. This phone case is so cool I wouldn't even consider using another. I went swimming on a jungle trek fell in the water, no big deal. In fact we took pictures in the water. It is fantastic! I've dropped my phone (in its case) more times than I can count. While on a jungle hike it dropped ~20 feet and still did not break!
Another factor that is extremely important to me is ease of access. The iPhone works in the case just how it would if you were directly touching the screen. Absolutely no difference what-so-ever. Also, the OtterBox Armor is built like a little mini safe with clasps. what's cool about it is once you pop the snaps its super easy to take your phone out. Out of every phone case I have ever had, used, borrowed, seen, etc. this one is absolutely the most risk free for removing a phone from a case. 5 STARS

I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for me. The only problems I have is that it seems to cut down on the sound of other peoples voices when talking and I have to open the flap on the bottom for anyone to hear me. My wife does not have this problem with hers. The one I got might just be defected.
