Not as good as it looks

The case is sturdy, I'll give you that, but I haven't and wasn't going to test the case against water due to the reviews. I have been an OtterBox customer since day one of owning an iPhone many many years ago. I have always liked their products and would recommend them ... Until now. This case is a major disappointment to me. Especially when OtterBox won't even stand-by it with replacing the phone should the case fail it "waterproof" design. The speakerphone quality is great, but sound quality out of the handset speaker is horrible. I have great hearing, but even I need the volume up all the way and can still only barely hear the other person. OtterBox, you have let me down! Back to the Defender case I go!

Cons: horrible sound quality, color options

I am one of the hardest one I know on tools, close, and work truck. This case take it, sand and dirt from craw spaces and undergrounds , water which is all around me as I am a Plumber, saw dust, hitting, dropping from ladders. All this and it still protects one of my most important tools. I use my phone to take pictures for materials, plane of actions, and sometimes just prove of jobs in hard to get places. I get that must important next job lead calls. It does its job with out flaws, keeping my phone safe and scratchless. So much I would argue if someone would say something negative about the otter box cover.

LUV IT!. Highly functional. Too afraid to test the water proof aspect; however, I know it is coming. Water + my phone = DISASTER. A little heavy but that is the only down side. Same functionality with the case on, no hindrance in buttons or texting. Would like to see some different "girlie" color options....how about PINK or Hawaiian Flowers.....ohhh, pretty. You gotta have this case. Little pricey but wait for the sales.....worth every $.

Biggest disappointment ever bought

I got this case thinking it would protect my phone from just about everything. After the first week, the rubber on the sides of the case peeled off. After a few months, part of the back chipped and cut my finger many times. And just last week, I dropped my phone with the case securely on, and the phone cracked. Also, the case is big, bulky, and heavy. once the glass in front of the camera gets dirty, all of the photos are very low quality.
Pros: a tiny bit protective
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, big and heavy, ugly

I had my first otterbox for about 8 months, and the grey cover started to come off. It didn't effect the performance of this case at all. Otterbox replaced it free of charge. My phone has been in the bottom of the pool several times and it comes out just fine. Sometimes I have had it in the shower with me playing iTunes radio. Love this case!

Callers claim it is hard to hear you speaking when the case is on. If I remove the case and make calls then everything is fine. I want to use the case as it protects the phone but the person on the other end of the line claims it is hard to hear you.

This is the best case out on the market I hve an Iphone5 and i must say I never liked how light weight and thin the iphone was But i liked the technology Anywy the otterbox Armour adds the durability lacking on these weighless thin phones, When i hear revuews that These cases are too bulky!I think to myself "how ridiculous"!! Its not a brick! If you were to insert a plain iphone into a leather case and carry it around it would be even bulkier!! With the otterbox armour you dont need a carrying case, Just pop in your pocket or purse or whatever.Buy a holster if youneed it pinned to your body. So dont listen to negatives ,This is absolutely the best and coolest looking case around !Waterproof Absolutely! Dust proof absolutely! And break proof absolutely! I love that no dirt or dust gets in the screen like the defender otterbox.This case is a must if you want your phone to always be prestine. One more thing, I have no sound issues and function issues with this Armour case , so dont listen to that when others complain .They always complain and are probably bitter at the cost of this case. The case does not affect functionality whatsoever! Oh well u might have to press a little harder on the screen at times, WOW I better return it now !Gimme a break! Buy this case You will not be disapointed!!
