I bought this because I will be working at a marina tis summer and wanted to protect my phone if it falls in the lake. I believe this unit will do that IF I retrieve the phone before it sinks. I haven't tested the flotation with the phone but I don't think it will float.

Case does all the things it's supposed to but the overall design is bulky, and clumsy to handle. Also...the case has edges that can trap dirt..it does not seal completely around the edges. Even though it does keep water out.

I bought the armor because the clip on the holster on my previous Otterbox broke and I needed a replacement. I went online and discovered the armor box and ordered it. I am quite happy with it and it has already protected my Iphone5 from a couple of falls. I really like the fact that it is waterproof for at least 30 minutes in water up to 6' in depth. It is a tough and secure product and I am happy with my purchase. The only drawback is the appropriate holster is quite bulky and sometimes gets in the way. However, once you get used to the magnetic fasteners it works.

This is my second purchase of a waterproof case, and this one exceeds the ability of the previous one, at the time otterbox did not offer a water proof option, now i am very impressed with it durability and protection, the audio capabilities are impressive, people can hear me when i use the phone, yeah thats right the previous case people said i sounded a million miles away, now my voice is clear, kind of important when you have a phone, the only thing i fear is the port covering the speaker area, looks to be a film, and when playing music you can see it vibrating, i am concerned it will not be strong enough or easily damaged by random debris, time will tell and will review it down the road, but so far i am impressed and will buy it again when i upgrade my phone,

Great Protection limited 8 pin size inlet space

I love the protection, the style and was able to place a Skinit Saints motive. I gave it a 3 star because the 8 pin access port is limited to apple lightening cable only, all the other reinforced plug cables will not fit. I have to refit my cables, which makes a bit expensive. It's still worth my money, i thought about enlarging the port access, but that will compromise the waterproofing protection.

This is one of if not the best case for protection. If the large size doesn't bother u then you won't find a better case! The only adjustment I need is some type of adapter that will allow charging from a vehicle using a car charger. It is impossible for the charging cord to fit into the deep port due to the size of the case.
