The Armor case for the iPhone 5 is unreal. I expect great things from it. Though it is larger than most, it feels durable and capable of handling anything I put it through.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: very large

Great protection from dust & drops ! It would be perfect if it had a belt clip or holster ! Is there one coming soon ?

Don't get me wrong this is a awesome case I love it. Its just the call quality is horrible. Sometimes I can't hear my party good and sometimes I can barely hear them and then they can't hear me, but other then that its a excellent case. I hope they fix this problem.

"WaterProof" Case

I bought this case ONLY because it was "waterproof" up to 6.6 feet for 30 minutes. I went rafting this past weekend and it was in 3 INCHES of water for up to 10 minutes and my phone is completely RUINED. I have had my phone in a NORMAL Defender iphone 5 case and it has never been harmed for what that case is used for. As far as a "waterproof" case by otter box this is not. I was talked out of the life proof, which i have had an had not one problem with until my puppy got a hold of it. NOT recommended to buy this product. its not worth your phone getting completely soaked.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Case!

This is a great phone case. I've always trusted Otterbox to protect my phones. I've never been let down. When I got my iPhone 5 a week ago, I already had this case waiting for to make sure I was going to be ready for anything. Luckily I did because my phone fell out of my pocket while running, and landed face down on the concrete. Only a small scratch on the case, but the phone is in perfect condition. The only problem I've noticed with the design of this case is the charger port. It will only fit the charger that comes with the phone. Other charges are too wide on that block part before the plug, so it will prevent you from getting to plug it in (yes, they were lightning plugs). Make sure you double check to make sure it will fit the case before you make any purchases for cables. I did not know when I purchased my cables, that the design of the cable would be different from the Apple version, and they would not be compatible with the case.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: does not fit all chargers

Discoloration of White Case, Lower Volume

Love the case. But beware of two flaws:
- for the white case, the front will get discolored. And so far they won't replace it for me.
- the sound quality is a little lower in the phone-to-ear speaker.

Wouldn't have an ipad or iphone without it. It has paid for itself time and time again. I love being able to take my iphone to the beach with my waterproof otter box. Its a must around the sand, or if your fingers are wet. Within 1 week of getting it, I got hit by a sprinkler, and it got knocked out of my front pocket on the soggy wet grass. To my surprise, the phone was 100% fine! And the customer service was superb. I contacted them because my white case discolored within the 1st year. They were quick to respond, and stood by their warranty, and sent me a new one. Because of that my firefighter husband now has one, my teenager has one, so it's only otter boxes in this family! :)
Pros: rugged, tough

Protective, Yet Fully Functional.

This case is awesome! I work on the ramp at the airport, so lots of opportunities to test the case out, and so far its handled everything like a champ. Water stays out when it rains, I don't have to worry if dust will get into it, and if I accidentally drop the case, I don't have to worry. The most important thing about the case is that unlike a competitor waterproof case, this case does not hinder sound either from the speaker, or the microphone! I can still hear calls just as well as i could with the defender case, and the microphone reception is only very slightly reduced. OtterBox has produced a quality product that does what it promises to do once again!
Pros: High quality, Durable, retains full functionality of the device
Cons: very pricey
