High Quality & Simple to Use

We ordered the Ovia 2-camera monitor for our baby (due in less than two months). It arrived today, was simple to set up (didn't need to review the manual online), it the picture quality is great. All features were easy to figure out, and all functioned as expected when tested. After the monitor when to "sleep", I played the part of our crying baby, which prompted a laugh from my wife when the monitor woke up, and the video returned, audio was loud and LEDs lit up. She was able to talk to me through the monitor. The monitor worked well everywhere in the house.
A touch-screen would make a nice improvement, but again, the controls were easy enough to figure out. Some sort of telescoping stand would also be a cool option for the cameras, as the table adjacent to the crib is not high enough to view into the crib from the top (but rather, only through the side of the crib). The zoom worked well (even though it's a digital zoom, the image was still very clear).
Time will tell how well it holds up, but we're very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it. This a such a huge improvement over the last (audio-only) baby monitor I had for my first child 20 years ago! : )

Wish I would have bought this a long time ago.. been using my old camera set for 9 years and finally decided to upgrade! This will last me for the next 9 years - and loved it from the first minute I could try it out..

Great Monitor!

We got this monitor to replace a comparable Samsung PTZ monitor that had stopped working after a few months. We love this Levana monitor, the features are all very comparable to the Samsung that we had, but I consider this to be a far better value.
The range is far better than our previous monitor ( I am able to work on projects in our basement two floors away without any reception issues). Video and audio quality are comparable to other high end monitors in my experience. Battery life is as well.... I'm not sure that it quite makes the 24hrs in PEEP mode that it claims but it can get us through a day's worth of naps (turning off for wake times), and if we forget to charge it over night it will usually make it through a second day of nap-times just fine. The battery life also got much better after about a week of use.
Even though we got the open box version, both the monitor and camera appeared to be perfectly new. The only issue we had is that there was no micro SD card included (the case and SD converter were there, but the card itself was not), not really a big deal for us though, it's an easy enough thing to pick up later if we decide we want to use that feature.
One nit-picky software thing that I wish worked differently is that in PEEP mode, if you wake up the screen just to check on how baby's doing, there's no way (that we have found) to turn the screen right back off... you have to wait the full minute for it to time out again. We don't do this a whole lot, maybe a couple of times a the beginning of a nap just to make sure he's really gone to sleep, but perhaps this has something to do with why we aren't seeing the full battery life.
Overall we love this monitor and look forward to being able to add camera's to it as our family expands!

Nice Dual Monitor

We've tried 3 other brands of video monitors with dual camera capability and this one is the winner. Nice picture, good sound. Only cons so far are that there are a couple of steps involved to pan the camera and the size of the camera "eggs" is much larger than the other brands. The power cords are also quite short, but, overall, we're happy with the purchase.

Great monitor quality

We just got our Levana Ovia in the mail and we're very happy with the screen resolution and size. This was something important to us. We did have a small issue with the battery not charging. It seems we were not plugging it in quite right. Once we got the hang of it, it seems to work great.

Great picture quality

We previously had a different levana camera, and we just upgraded to this one. The picture quality is clear and I love how we can pan, and zoom. Makes it great to watch our little one weather he is sleeping or just playing. This camera offers so many great features!

Clear Picture, Color A Bit Off

We purchased this monitor for our nursery and are happy with it overall. Everything was easy to set up and figure out. The picture is clear, but the color isn't exactly accurate. Clear, just...off. Still, it's a clear picture and the low light feature is great.
