Large color monitor, night vision, photo, video, zoom and pan, speaker, AND lullabies, ALL IN ONE DEVICE ... what more could you ask for?! It works exactly as described, and the range reaches all parts of my house. Indoor AND outdoor! I've tried other monitors, and you get so much more from the Ovia than from other monitors that cost the same price.

Great for new Parents!

As first time parents we wanted something that was simple to set up and easy to use. The ability to adjust and tilt the camera remotely is also a feature we like. The 2nd battery that comes with the unit was a pleasant surprise to us... it's great piece of mind. For these reasons, we would recommend the Ovia to our friends and family.

Excited to finally have a quality video monitor

This just came today and I've been playing around w all the fun features. My favorites are the tilt-pan-zoom. W my old monitor once she moved out of camera sight i'd have to go in their and adjust the angle. Annoying!! This is perfect. The second camera will be needed next month w baby #2. Love all this technology today. Puts my mind at ease being able to SEE what the noise is all about.

I was looking for a secure video monitor and this met all my needs and more. I love the pan and zoom option

I have tried several different baby monitors and I have to say that the Levana Ovia is by far the best. I had tried most of the other major brands and each had some good features and some bad. However, with the Levana Ovia, it had all of the features from the other major monitors and then some.
The main features that I like the most is:
- The ability to record video and take pictures. It even stores them on a storage card that is supplied by Levana.
- The night sensor works great. The images in the dark are crystal clear and not grainy like some of the other monitors.
- Comes with a nice 4.3 inch LCD screen. I tried a couple monitors that used an app on Android/iOS but the problem with using your mobile device is that it drains your battery and the screen doesn't stay lit when the device goes to sleep so you have to keep waking up your device to check on the baby. And if you are on the phone, it isn't convenient to keep checking the monitoring app. Having a standalone monitor is crucial.
- The Smart LED Indicator works like a charm. The screen turns off to save battery however, the camera microphone is still on so you can hear your baby. With the LED ring, it stays blue when all is calm. If your baby makes noise at varying levels, the ring will change color to let you know. It works really well. It can decipher between baby cooing noises and crying/screaming. If your baby wakes up crying, the LED will turn orange or red depending on the loudness of the cry and the screen will illuminate to alert you. I no longer have to keep checking my phone to see if the baby is sleeping or awake.
- The pan/tilt camera movement works great and provides a wide range of movement. The zoom works great and actually zooms instead of just digitally zooming, which 'pixelates' the picture.
- The two-way mic provides a clear sound to the baby. When using it, I see my baby looking around to see if I am in the room.

I would recommend this monitor system. There are cheaper alternatives but you do get what you pay for. I just ordered two more cameras (since it can handle up to four cameras per monitor) so I can have monitoring in the different rooms.

Bought the Ovia and haven't been disappointed. Excellent video quality. Easy to use. Even the music it plays isn't that bad.
I've seen friends use other baby monitors, and the things I love the most about this one is its screen size and it ability to record.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extra Large Screen!

I love that this has a huge screen for viewing our baby. The picture is extremely clear in the daytime. We haven't tested the night vision yet. The camera works well and the zoom feature is pretty good. The voice-over function works well, but I'm not sure how much we'll actually use this. I haven't tested the lullabies yet as far as their effectiveness with the baby, but they do work. The sound quality is really good.
