Pretty solid monitor

It's a solid monitor, nice features, but the range is a little low. We don't have THAT big of a house and the video stream is a little choppy in our living room. Other than that, picture is great and I am very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of money

The day I opened the box this thing started malfunctioning. It kept losing signal, but I thought it was the way my house was set up and it only lasted a second or two at a time so I just dealt with it. It was also rarely ever in color and almost always switched to black and white. I figured, not a big deal, I can still monitor my child without a color screen. Now it will not charge. I've tried it in every outlet in my house. I've only had it for two weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Video Monitor

So far we really love our Ovia Digital Video Baby Monitor. Out of the box we were a little less than thrilled with the lack of set-up directions (just a small pamphlet with photos and no words) and it took us about 30-45 minutes to get it working. Then we had issues with the screen being very pixelated and the colors being distorted. My husband was ready to return it but I pushed on and after working with it I got it to work correctly. After that the monitor has been great. I have been researching video monitors for over a year and was excited to get this one. The two cameras are great. Right now we still have our son in our room to sleep so we have a camera there, and the other is in his room where he can play and I can safely watch him while I make dinner. It is great! I would have also liked to be provided with little more explanation on what all of the functions on the menu do, instead of having to go through them "trial & error" to find out what they were for but really that is a small complaint in comparison to all of the great features. We love the pan/tilt option so we can follow our son around his room while he plays, and are very happy to have the memory cards to record at the touch of the button. A great monitor, we highly recommend it.

Good price, but quality not as good as it could be

My awesome Motorola broke, plus I needed a 2-camera monitor, so I purchased this one at a great price. The price makes it a good value along with the warranty. However, the night vision is not even half as clear as other monitors, which is a HUGE bummer since my baby ALWAYS naps in his dark room (currently I have a hard time deciphering between his head and toes - whereas with other monitors, I could see even his eyes rather distinctively). The sound quality is exceptional - I can hear my baby sucking on his pacifier at night and the clock ticking! For multiple cameras, you will be viewing a "quad" screen - even if you only have TWO cameras set up. I do not like this, because the image is so very small, coupled with terible night vision, it is two-thumbs down. I would prefer the company to allow a "split" screen when you have two cameras hooked up - and the "quad" screen for three or more. I would have given this 3.5-stars, but again the price is very fair.

Couldn't Imagine Not Having One!

We have been lucky enough to be gifted both a single moniter for our first born (2011) and a double moniter when our second arrived (2015). They are fantastic, durable, easy to use and great not only for monitering our baby's safety but also spying and communicating with our toddler for sleep training purposes. While we have our newer double moniters setup at home, we have our older single moniter packed and ready to go with us on overnight trips. Love the Levana moniters!

good for twins

I bought it about 3 weeks ago and I have used it everyday. I have twins so it is great as it has multiple camera options. I also like that you can switch sound to each camera by one push of a button.
