Love this monitor!

We bought this monitor when we moved to a new house where we needed an intercom feature. It works great! It has a great range and the features are wonderful. I love that you can move the cameras from the base unit and also zoom in. The "peep' mode is great and has an adjustable setting for sensitivity. The screen will go black and then come on when noises are detected. Also, the intercom feature has been very useful for our 4 year old. It's great to be able to talk back to him from our bedroom where he would normally not be able to hear us. This monitor is everything we needed! The one downside was it didn't come with an instruction booklet, so we had to look it up online (which was easy).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Set up, nice features

We just set our Ovia up a few days ago after having it for a few weeks b/c we didn't realize how easy set up was! I really like the nice big screen and the camera range is very nice as well. We have our current monitor mounted on our daughters crib and I really didn't want to do that again, so the fact that this one can sit on her dresser and we are still able to see her clearly is a plus. The only negative I have is that the instructions that come with the camera/monitor are only set up. There's no specifics on how to use it so you're on your own to figure out how everything works. I'm sure it's on the internet somewhere, but while we were out of town, I didn't have time to look so I just played with it for a few days until I figured everything out. The only other issue so far is that the battery life (in peep mode) is no where near the length that it says it is. Mine died after only a few hours the other night but keeping it plugged in isn't really a big deal.

Overall, happy with the Ovia. Did not find image quality identical to the video and pictures posted on the site. But the screen resolution is better than some of other monitors out there. Love the PEEP feature. Does the job, quality not as clear as the nest cameras but allows for freedom from wifi. Battery quality is subpar. Dies overnight, best way is for us to leave it on the charging cradle.

Easy to use ... great picture!

I have been using this product for one month so far and have been very pleased with it. I initially had a problem pairing the 2nd camera to the monitor, but that was quickly solved with the excellent customer service. My only suggestion is that it is odd having such a big screen that is not touch-screen, but I have gotten used to it. Also, my picture sometimes blinks from bright to dim when not plugged it. This is not a problem, however, since I always have it plugged in at my bedside.

I really like all the features that this has but I feel the battery is dying way to fast - not sure what is happening.

I received this monitor as a gift 2 months ago. We are expecting baby number 2 and wanted something with 2 cameras so we can use for our toddler and new baby. Overall, I've been pleased with the quality. I love the big screen and talk back feature. My only complaint is that every now and then the audio will go in and out. This only lasts several seconds and I had a similar issue with my audio only monitor.

Piece of mind

I bought this monitor after using another brand for several years. I am probably not the typical user as I use it to monitor my adult son with special needs while he sleeps. He has epilepsy. The main reason I chose this model was for the record feature. It is helpful to be able to see if he had any events during the night that I didn't hear. The format to review an entire night of video is a bit cumbersome but it does work. All of the other features work well - picture clarity, range, camera angles, etc. The flip out stand on the back needs to be larger as it often tips over. If it lasts, it is a great product.
