I love this set! I have 3 small kids, so I need the extra eyes for sure! I looooove that there is no noise when you pan the room, and they can't even tell it is on! The battery was bad in it, and died if it was not plugged in, but I called customer service and got great service from Sarah! They are sending me a new battery, so I can't complain! So far I love love love it! I won't deduct any stars because they took care of the problem with no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Going back to Motorola

After my Motorola died, I did a lot of research looking for a quality monitor and ended up choosing Levana. At first the company seemed easy to deal with- easy to purchase, quick shipment. I was excited to set the cameras up and did so quite easily. The unit only comes with a "quick set up guide" which is less than helpful. I appreciate "green" companies but was a little annoyed that the only user manual that exists is online, and even it is not very helpful. The initial picture seemed good and I was excited about the split screen (a feature lacking in the Motorolas) My enthusiasm ended in the morning, though. One camera stopped working all together. 20 minutes of "Live Chat" and I finally got authorization to return the camera. Was told it would take 2-4 weeks for me to receive my replacement. Two days later, and the second camera is constantly losing it's signal. The picture is just okay. When my son is moving, the picture becomes very pixilated and you can tell that it's delayed. The 2-way talking is a nice feature but my 3 year old complained he couldn't hear me when I talked to him through the microphone. I can whisper through my Motorola without a problem. The only positive is that the second customer rep was able to quickly process my request for return. I'm returning this unit tomorrow and will be going back to Motorola monitors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this monitor a couple weeks ago as we have a new baby on the way and our old one could not be expanded for 2 cameras. It is really easy to use and straight forward to set-up. I highly recommend this monitor to all my friends.

Peace of Mind

We purchased this video monitor in preparation of moving our daughter to her own room. After thoroughly comparing various brands/models, we settled on the Ovia and are very pleased with our purchase. The setup was extremely easy and the reliability of the camera and monitor give us the peace of mind that all first time parents need when their child is asleep in their own room. Since we've setup the video monitor, we have not had any issues with the picture quality or sound. The "peek mode" feature allows us to conserve the battery life of the monitor while she sleeps which is great. The only feature I wish were different is the camera. Unfortunately, in my research, I did not realize that the camera has to remain plugged in at all times. The exposed wires and need of an outlet posed a little bit of a challenge with installation but overall, I am very pleased with this product and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

More Features than I thought

So far I enjoy this monitor. It has it's own built in music and you can add up to 3 additional cameras if you wanted to. I have had a few glitches with it where the receiver just turns off but i have noticed it happens when you are holding it too tightly while walking so i think it might have something to do with pushing on the battery cover. I haven't had any issues when its just sitting on the table.
I like how it came with an extra battery and a charging cradle that you can charge the receiver plus your extra battery at the same time. As for range, I have gone outside and around the house and still had great reception with it. I haven't experienced any interference with reception. The one thing i wish this had was a thermostat. I feel that would have made this 5 stars.
